Vile gluten free

im a massive doughnut fan and have had doughnuts from all over the country.We ordered the gluten free ones as never tried that before. one word ....YUK! How is this called a doughnut. its cake . and to top it off. Bloody disgusting cake too. Never again.

Not received Items, courier mistake, but Poor Service...overall

**Edit- After the response, the compensation I was offered was a 50% discount on my next order... not a partial refund, an offer after a late delivery. The address was correct, postcode was mismatched, if their site used a proper address validation (I'm sure given the cost of their product it would be a minor job) they could do so. Courier was DPD local, they are sincerely telling me that since the item was a different postcode, less than a mile away the person couldnt validate the address. DPD, equally bad, I couldnt call my delivery driver to reroute. Representative was nice enough but clearing they have been given the line of "I cannot escalate", atleast 6 times in our interactions.

Despite placing an order in good time, none of the items ever arrived. By the time it became clear there was an issue, the event I needed them for had already passed, making the situation even more frustrating as they were closed on the weekend (which is bizzarre for a large chain).

While customer service did respond promptly, the resolution offered was inadequate and failed to take responsibility for the failed delivery. I was instead left to resolve the issue myself and will now be pursuing a chargeback.

There also appear to be shortcomings with the website’s address handling, which may contribute to delivery problems. However, this does not fully explain the failure, as my address is regularly serviced without issue.

Overall, I’m very dissatisfied with both the service and the outcome. I would not use this company again.

I understand a member of the customer service team has been in contact with yourself via email and phone to discuss your order.

Unfortunately as the postcode you entered at checkout was input incorrectly DPD were unable to deliver your parcel. As we have already explained all our customers receive an email confirmation post purchase which allows you to review your order & double check all the information is correct. As per our records the team offered a resolution at the time for this as a gesture of goodwill however this was refused.

We think our customer service is 5* however you have rated us 1* as you input the wrong address.

Discovered on a recent trip to London

We tried these a couple of times when visiting London and thoroughly enjoyed your doughnuts.
We ordered an Easter box of 6 as a gift and this was their response.
"I have just received a very special parcel from you all.I cannot believe how amazing they look and how thoughtful it was of you! I cannot wait to try them all" "They didn't disappoint and were amazing!"
The only notable negative is they are very expensive!

This company is the worst, disgusting

This company is the worst. Slimy awful smelling heavy lumps of excruciatingly sweet “dough nuts” and horrible slimy customer service who decide no complaint is worth their time. You can pay to send back the disgusting product , you pay for that and they will decide they are fine. I am considering reporting them to food standards and warn anyone please do not use.

Not perfect but almost there

Ordered in advance for a specific date (gluten free daughters 18th birthday). Arrived on the day requested (whoop whoop) unfortunately the courier decided not to knock and simply dumped them on the doorstep (thankful for video doorbells!). Excitedly opened the box and was slightly disheartened to find one had "oozed" jam all over two other doughnuts leaving non in the one in question.

We'd plumed for the Gluten Free Valentines Pack sadly finding the chocolate cowboy hats tasted erm... questionable, guessing this is down to them also being vegan but they tasted like eating a solid block of grease.

The "BIS-KIT HARRINGTON" too sadly ended up in the bin. It literally tasted like eating chemicals, definitely nothing anywhere like anything else speculoos flavoured we've had before.

Other than this we were happy with the selection and would consider getting again for a special occasion. Would be nice if you could freeze the doughnuts as the 3 day shelf life is short when your faced with a box of 6. Yes the doughnuts are a bit more cake based than doughnut based but this didn't distract from the overall experience.

Brilliant customer service

I was greeted with a friendly smile from a lovely young lady called Ebony, who works at the Portobello Market/Notting Hill branch.
I brought a Chocolate covered doughnut sprinkled with dessicated coconut with a raspberry filling and cream on top. It turned out to be absolutely delicious.
This is just to say thank you for helping me to make that brave choice. No regrets.

Worth every penny…

My husband has not had doughnuts in years due to high intolerances. I cannot explain the joy he had eating these. The variety of flavours were brilliant and he was amazed at how good they tasted. We will definitely ordering more and cannot thank you enough.

Very happy returning customer

Been a returning customer since i discovered this company last year, dont often buy gf sweet treats but these are ones we like to try, tried several of the different seasonal ones and loved every one, more cake based doughnut, but so good and dont fall apart, nice and moist, lovely texture and flavours, will be returning in the future im sure. Highly recommended!

I buy the GF ones for my niece as she…

I buy the GF ones for my niece as she is a Coeliac and she loves them. FYI she is a very picky eater so when she finds something she likes we are all happy. This is her treat thank you

Really great first experience

Really great first experience.
My husband is vegan so finding good treats for him isn’t easy. These were brilliant and so much choice. Really reasonably priced and good delivery. Will be ordering again.

Delicious Gift!

Bought them for my daughter and her family for Valentines Day. She sent a picture and they looked amazing (couldn’t see where to upload here). She said they tasted delicious too!! Very happy and would use again.
