Danielle is the most knowledgeable, kind, and patient coach! Online classes might seem intimidating, but she does a truly incredible job of working virtually. Big space, small space, Danielle will make it work! She is incredibly attentive and takes things at just the right pace. I’ve just gotten back on my feet from an injury and she’s done a tremendous job making me feel confident while I build up my skills. I HIGHLY recommend her private lessons. On days we don’t “meet,” I utilize my Patreon subscription to practice with her prerecorded lessons. I also highly recommend this! 10 out of 10 all around!

After stalking Danielle on Instagram for more than a year, I finally decided to take the plunge and do a couple of one-to-one face-to-face sessions with her.

As a background, I am 35 years old and have never learnt to skate on quads, with very poor mind-body connection (read: zero coordination!) I don’t consider myself athletic or sporty, and right off the bat I expressed my nervousness and anxiety to Danielle. She immediately put me at ease, and we started off with some very basic drills that made me feel safe.

She guided me every step of the way, breaking the movement down both visually, and with very helpful audio cues. She filmed our sessions so that I could review and understand where I could improve. She was super energetic, encouraging, and empowering.

I went from being scared of even standing still in my quads to actually learning how to skate on rough pavement, and even making little turns all in just two sessions.

Danielle was always patient with me, even when I wasn’t patient with myself. She never made me feel pressured, but at the same time she encouraged me outside of my comfort zone, so I could perform the different steps and drills that she showed me. I am so grateful for our face-to-face sessions, and I will definitely be signing up for online sessions when I’m back in the UK. Thank you so much Danielle, like the title says you’re a wizard!!!

Danielle is a very pedagogical teacher! I did not know how to start with skate and Danielle perfectly adapts our lessons to my needs and my level. She guides me and help me in my skate journey step by step.
She will first explain and correct you before giving homework, so your next session will be efficient. I discovered a lot of things with her.
She is also patient and she encourages you.

I had four or five lessons with Danielle in Wandsworth in 2021. I was already quite experienced and wanted some guidance on a few tricky moves (spinning, waltz jump, spreadeagle etc). Danielle was a fantastic teacher who took me out of my comfort zone just enough to allow me to progress without scaring me. I would wholeheartedly recommend Danielle to anyone looking to improve their rollerskating.

I had an absolutely fantastic session with Danielle! Having learned to skate in a matter of months, Danielle is your go-to girl for the most effective drills to improve your skating. As a not-quite-complete beginner who had already developed some bad habits, Danielle was incredibly helpful in taking me back to basics, and giving me some great exercises to help me nail the fundamentals before moving onto the harder stuff we’re all itching to try! Danielle was super friendly and approachable from the get go, and it’s clear she loves what she does. I would recommend her and her classes to anyone learning to skate — expect to have a really productive lesson!

Lessons are amazing, 100% recommend! Danielle is, first of all, just an all-round great human and fun to be around. Her teaching is amazing - she has a great eye for detail and goes through everything from the beginning (for me - I'm a beginner) in a really structured way which makes it really easy to understand and know how you're progressing and what to work on. I wish I'd started getting lessons with her ages ago.

Danielle’s 1on1 lessons are great fun and worth every penny. It’s thanks to them that I have been able to gain confidence on my skates and little by little focused on the technique correcting the little bad habits I had created right from the start. On top of the lessons I have watched some of her tutorials and continue learning. She made me feel good and supported me to get over my fear and sense of embarrassment. So I can’t thank her or recommend her enough.

I had 3/4 lessons with Danielle right at the start of my skate journey via zoom and she was worth every penny. She really focused on helping me get fundamentals right and I made a lot of progress in a short time with her help. I'm still skating (@kes_skates) but will always credit Danielle for the solid start she gave me. She was able to give super detailed feedback about my body position for different moves in order so I was then able to execute them properly (e.g. dips/spins). She was so lovely to work with and the passion she has for her job is obvious.

I’ve had multiple lessons with Danielle and I loved all of them.
She is so attentive and she pays so much attention to details and really tries to explain certain moves or techniques in the best way for you.
She helped to work on some basic skills and also helped me to get over my fear of falling after my injury. I’m very happy I got a chance to meet Danielle and learn from her while we both were in the same city.

I also purchased her Patreon subscription pack for beginners. I love how she not only explains the moves and techniques but also gives practical advice to skaters ☺️

RollerSkillz is an amazing skate teacher she fun friendly patient she has a great eye for detail shes very knowledgeable and great at breaking techniques down into bite size chunks so you really understand. I am so happy to have met and learned from RollerSkillz I’ve learned and improved so much with the lessons I’ve had with her. I would definitely recommend RollerSkillz both for beginner skaters and more experienced skaters who are looking to refine and improve on techniques. I’m a very happy and satisfied customer 😊

Great lesson with Danielle! Really went back to teaching the real important basics and built confidence in doing so. I bought all her online lessons too which were so fun to do at home at my own pace 😊

I have had a few private rollerskating lessons with Danielle. I have really enjoyed them and she seems to be able to perfectly pitch the lesson to be the right amount of challenge and fun. I feel like the have learnt so much and can practice what she has taught from the videos. My confidence has improved as well as my skills. Danielle is an excellent teacher.

Absolutely wonderful roller skate instructor. I have been to a few lessons with other instructors but Danielle is the best in a league of her own.

My main aim in taking lessons was to learn to undertake transitions and learn to skate backwards because I know I was doing it wrong. After 4 lessons with her, I have learned to skate backwards in two different ways and I am very happy and confident.

I found Danielle to be very patient, she listened to me when I asked about techniques and what I wanted to learn, and she broke down every instruction without complications. She also filmed and sent to me videos of me learning to skate. These video has helped me as I look at them to continue my practice.

I started lessons with her in October 2022 and I believe I am more confident.

I highly recommend her as she is a true professional and knows her craft.

Really love Danielle's style of skating and she is super lovely and patient teaching. We worked on some drills and techniques to get me more confident on skates and some more funky moves too- sessions would fly so quickly because it was challenging for me but always fun. Would definitely recommend!

Danielle is excellent in every way! She is kind, understanding, professional, and a lot of fun! She’s got years of skating and teaching experience, but she is also able relate to anyone who started skating as an adult which I think is quite a unique skill. She tailored our session to my level and needs and gave me incredibly helpful tips and advice throughout. She was also very good at breaking moves down and explaining things in a way that made sense to me. I felt at ease, had fun and improved a lot within an hour long session. Could not recommend her enough!

I was so glad to have found Danielle via instagram. Having attended one of her group sessions I decided to treat myself to 121 sessions. I came away from each lesson having learnt something new. My skating has progressed so much thanks to Danielle. She has a way of breaking down the moves and explaining that really helps. She is very encouraging and patient which is exactly what you need when learning a new skill especially in middle age!

I’m pretty much a beginner when it comes to skating, but RollerSkillz put me at such ease to learn the basics. Each move was beautifully explained and I was given the time and encouragement to become more comfortable. By the end of the session I felt more confident. Highly recommend!!

Danielle is amazing!!! I'm in the usa and we had sessions via zoom. She was able to watch my skating and give me corrections that helped me get the skills I wanted.
