New learning experience at FAO

I really enjoyed my experience visiting the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) in Rome with Rome Business School. It was interesting to tour the company headquarters with other students in the food and beverage management program along with human resource management peers. The modern museum provided lots of context on the origins of the organization and deeper dive into food and sustainability topics. The tour guide was warm and welcoming, answering all of our questions and showing us different important rooms like the conference room where grand meetings take place.

A Highly Educational FAO Company Visit

I had the opportunity to take part in the company visit to the FAO, and it was an extremely enriching and well-organized experience. The visit provided valuable insight into the FAO’s crucial role in global food systems and in addressing food security challenges worldwide.
The presentations were clear, engaging, and highly relevant, allowing me to better connect my academic background in International Food and Beverage with real-world international practices. This experience offered a meaningful perspective on how global institutions operate within the food and beverage sector.
Overall, it was a highly valuable learning experience that I would strongly recommend to other students.

My visit to the Food and Agriculture…

My visit to the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) last Wednesday was an inspiring and enriching experience that deepened my understanding of how global institutions operate.

As part of my master’s program at Rome Business School, led by our program director Natasha, I had the opportunity to explore the FAO museum, conference rooms, offices, and other key areas within the organization.

This visit allowed me to witness firsthand how international policies on food security and agriculture are developed and coordinated.

It was both educational and motivating, strengthening my interest in international development and HR work while giving me a deeper appreciation for the global impact of organizations like FAO.

I look forward to more opportunities of this kind throughout my studies.

Serious issue with recognition of the degree – please be aware

I completed a master’s program at Rome Business School believing that the qualification would also have administrative value in Italy.
However, when I submitted my application at the Immigration Office to convert my residence permit, I was informed that the degree issued by RBS is NOT recognized by the Italian Ministry of Education (MIUR).

This created a very serious problem: my application was misclassified, and I am now facing a potential refusal because the school’s diploma has no official legal value for administrative procedures in Italy.

At no point during my studies was it clearly explained that RBS is not a recognized university and that the diploma cannot be used for procedures such as residence permit conversion or other official purposes.

I strongly advise future students—especially international students—to research this aspect carefully before enrolling.
Transparency is essential, and unfortunately, my experience has been extremely stressful and disappointing due to this lack of clarity.

Thank you!

The visit from Teatro Olimpico was informative and exciting. It was a delight to be able to ask questions and listen to the wonderful experiences and suggestions of Simone Manzoni. Thank you for inspiring!
The only thing I would like Rome Business School to be more concerned would be the angle and the distance of the camera because it was very far. The sound could have been a little better as well.
But, overall, a good experience!

Misleading image, curated reviews, and a very poor real student experience – April 2025 intake

I joined Rome Business School for the April 2025 intake with high hopes. What I experienced was completely different from what was promised.

The quality of education is very poor. Classes feel rushed and unorganized. The materials are basic and sometimes outdated. Many professors do not explain things clearly and struggle with English, which makes it hard to understand simple concepts. Most of the time it feels like they are just reading from slides with no real teaching or structure.

Support is one of the worst parts. Before payment, communication was fast and friendly. After enrollment, everything changed. Replies take days or never come. Follow-ups are messy and confusing. You are passed from one person to another and no one takes real responsibility. Simple issues become long problems.

Nothing is managed properly. Timetables change suddenly. Information comes late or not at all. Deadlines are unclear. Students are left to figure things out alone. It feels like a total mess, not a serious academic environment.

After joining, I started reading more on Reddit and Italian forums and realized my experience was not unique. Many former and current students report the same issues: poor teaching quality, weak or unprepared professors, chaotic management, aggressive sales before payment, and big problems when trying to withdraw or ask for refunds. Several people say they felt misled about what kind of “master” they were enrolling in and later discovered it is not a real university degree in the way they thought.

I also saw that Trustpilot has put a warning on Rome Business School saying they may be using unsupported methods to ask for reviews. For me, this explains a lot. From what I have seen, the school focuses on a small number of students who had a smoother experience and pushes them to leave very positive reviews. These are usually people who already had low expectations or just happened to get lucky with their class, their teacher, or their personal situation. Their good outcome often seems like luck, not the result of strong support or high-quality teaching.

Because of this, the positive reviews on Trustpilot do not feel genuine or representative to me. They look carefully selected and pushed by the school. The whole process looks biased and not fair. In my opinion, people should not rely on those positive reviews at all. The negative reviews, on the other hand, match what I lived and what many others describe on independent platforms. They show the real, general picture of the experience at Rome Business School much better than the 5-star comments.

For the high amount of money paid, the value is extremely low. I do not feel supported, I do not feel I received serious education, and I do not feel this school deserves the image it tries to show online.

Workshop Understanding International Job Markets

The topic we discussed is really relevant to my current situation, as I am abroad and looking for work, I must say with a bit of difficulty. Therefore, I found it very interesting to take inspiration from what the professor shared with us. I will try to put his teachings/suggestions into practice. It was a really useful and constructive workshop. Thank you.

Wella Visit - Online

It was an honor to participate in the recent online visit to Wella Company and to have been invited to share my experience. The session was much more than a presentation about Wella by Romolo Ganzerli (Global Head of B2B eCommerce). The way he detailed Wella's digital transformation journey and the redefinition of the industry through data was fascinating. In addition to the strategic vision, I was particularly inspired by Romolo sharing his personal and entrepreneurial journey. I thought the opportunity to interact directly with him during the Q&A session was very timely on the part of Rome Business School. I hope the school continues to give students these opportunities!

Wella's Company Visit

Rome business School provides so many different features into our master's program. One of them, workshops. Last week, we had an amazing entrepreneur. Great 60 minutes, full of insightful details, about the process (entrepreneurial) and career life (corporate).
It was impressive, friendly, transparent, and empathic. Sharing his point of view and designated a time for the students to ask some questions.
Personally, I truly appreciated the time, the dedication and the information shared.
