I ordered torched on felt, no confirmation email, nobody picked the phone, nobody replied after several email, I went to the address in fitzwilliam street there is no shop at that address, I asked around they said lots people come here for the same reason
I still didn't get the money back, this website roofit.ie should be remove from the web, I reported it to google and hotline.ie for scamming

Ordered 2 torch on rolls of felt for collection. No confirmation email from the company, just one from PayPal.

Tried calling the number on the website but It never picks up.

The contact us form on the website does not work either.

Had to email them to get a response, this is when they said the products I ordered were out of stock. Even though it said it was in stock during time of purchase.

They really have no idea how to run a business at all.

AVOID!

Made an order and paid and they won't answer their phone or reply to my emails.
Is this company a sham?

None of the torch on felt showing on the website is actually in stock or available

I emailed this company about the possibility of their being able to source an item which was not on their website. They could not do enough to accommodate me.
Service and communication(by email) was excellent, particularly from Bernie.

I purchased a Sun Tunnel from Roofit. It was listed as "in stock" so I placed the order for collection. Afterwards, I tried calling them and I could not get an answer. Days went by without them picking up the phone. Eventually when they answered after around a week, they asked me to put it to them in an Email. It took another few days for them to respond to my Email which they simply stated the item is "not in stock". I tried calling them again and another few days had passed. Eventually they picked up the phone and said they would call me back within 30 minutes which they never did.

Eventually, I went to the address listed on their website and I found that Roofit does not have an office at this address (23 Fitzwilliam Street Upper). I had to call my bank for them to reverse the payment.

Afterwards, I had received an Email from Roofit apologizing for the delay but he was out sick for the past week (although at this stage the Sun Tunnel had been ordered 3 weeks ago). Additionally, they asked for additional funds because "the item was priced incorrectly" on their website.

Note, I paid €472 for the Sun Tunnel and they requested a further €18 as they could not supply it for less than €490. They said they will order the item after the additional payment is made (it has already been 3 weeks and they have still not ordered the item at this point and it will take a further 2 weeks for the item to arrive).

After I called my bank to have the payment reversed, I purchased the same Sun Tunnel from Smyths building supplies for €316.

Purchased a product listed as 2 days delivery time and in stock, no communication other than automated purchase confirmation. Waited a full week and wrote them an email, no response until 3 working days later at which point I had already had to buy the product elsewhere. Delayed my roofing job now and missed the opportunity to get it done in the good weather, so I’m 2 weeks behind. Their only explanation was being “snowed under” with enquiries, in that case the courteous thing to do is to update the website to reflect the delay or flag this to the customer. No consideration for people’s trust, time and money making orders on their website. Only positive is that they did return my money promptly once they finally acknowledged my order and email.

Company needs to improve communication with clients and more regular updates and calls back will help!

Contacted the Roofit team about some loft lids and loft legs for the attic. Really helpful and friendly even with a small enough order. Quick turn around and delivery on the order - would recommend.

I purchased a sun tunnel, good quality product, prompt delivery, excellent customer service, i will definitely buy ftom this company again.

Never again, 4 days no callback

Specific to the "Loft Leg" product on their website, this experience tells me a lot and thankfully, before I purchased. No mention on Roofit.ie's Loft Leg product page of what the cost is for, single or pack. Having been on the manufacture's website, it appears these loft legs are in packs of 12. I called Roofit.ie who were not able to answer this simple question and was told I'd be called back with the answer. 24 hours later, I'm still waiting. More damning however is misrepresenting the load factor on this product by 100%. Roofit.ie claim 50m per square metre load bearing on the product page whereas the manufacturer's website states 25kg per square metre. Identical product.
Trust with this business? Zero.

The product I ordered online turned out to be out of stock - despite showing as in stock during the checkout. I waited 3 weeks for the delivery. After three weeks I've sent an email asking when my order will arrive. The response was - "...we are unsure as to when more stock will arrive"...So, I've wasted 3 weeks and ended up having no joist hangers for my project. Therefore - absolutely not recommending Roofit.ie for online purchasing. If product is out of stock you shouldn't wait 3 weeks to tell your customer it's not going to arrive. ESPECIALLY if it's roof related stuff.
