I ordered them. They were made. They came on time. I put them up. They look and work great.

Quick service, even when they forgot to ship part of the order originally. They promptly made if right. Highly recommend them for ventilation products. High quality materials used.

The product is good quality and I could use more, but, with the shipping charges this company charges I doubt I will order again. I paid $40. for 2 aluminum vents and they charged another $40. for shipping 2 items that weigh a total of 4 pounds. Just 2 lightweight aluminum vents wrapped in some bubble wrap in a box. Talk about doubling your money on the sale! I would have given them a 1 rating except that the vents are pretty good quality, but the shipping is a ripoff, sorry to say!

The only thing I would change is the quote process, it took longer then I would have liked.

First of all, Active Ventilation was the only company I could find that offered a solar powered (PVC) roof vent fan / accelerator. The web site was easy to navigate, product specifications easy to understand, and the ordering / fulfillment process was quick and easy. The item arrived within days, neatly and safely packed. If I have any reservations, it's that the fan doesn't seem to pull much. But I'm going to trust that the CFM rating they "advertised" is accurate since everything else about them is buttoned-down.

I did not enjoy working with this vendor. In phone conversation, I had a hard time getting the information I needed. I had to submit my order and wait for a quote to find out pricing and availability. That took longer than I was told. My order took longer to ship than I was told and then longer to arrive (which I understand is not really in the vendor's control). The packaging was inadequate and all four of the large vents I ordered were bent and dented, but by that time, I was so ready to be done with it, I just used a couple of vice grips and bent them back into shape and used them. I think the vents were grossly overpriced, but I couldn't really find other vents of a similar size and these meet the specifications and don't leak, so I am grateful for the product.

Came pretty quickly, well packed. It was obviously well made.
We installed it on a vent in our place in 29 Palms, CA, which is REALLY hot in the summer. Also the ceilings are fairly low (barely 8 ft). It really seems to make a difference as the hot air is venting out. we are getting 3-5 degree temp reduction on the really hot days from one vent. On the cooler days we are getting 5+ degrees difference. We have a large cement floor which is a large heat sink. Thank you. Would buy again, and probably will.

Received great information and product knowledge from Martin during the ordering process. Also received 5 star service for super fast delivery. However product arrived with internal damage on 2 of the 3 vents ordered. Packaging was not even close to being capable of handling ground shipping. Cardboard was thin and there wasn't any reinforcement to resist impact. My email back to the company notifying them of the internal freight damage was ignored.

good product, but took much longer to make and ship than quoted

We ordered the vents and were given a lead time that was much longer than the actual arrival. They were packaged well and of high quality. Under promise and over deliver. I like that.

Our new 2 story home had a powered vent on the roof and was always running because the attic was so hot. The rooms upstairs were hot as well and A/C could not keep up. After replacing with a 24" Aura Gravity Ventilator and with the outside temperatures still hot, we could drastically feel the temperature drop in the upstairs area of our home. Not only is it cooler it is now quieter and we are saving energy. This is the second house that we have installed an Aura Gravity Ventilator, and both are now considered a huge success for us.

Payment was funky and the form linked didn't even work so I never completed the order.

Roof vent was delivered with out damage and installed easy.

Easy to install, and noticed more air movement in my attic.

I ordered the item, it came quickly and it was well made. Plus the price was much better than on the super big online place. I am quite happy with the purchase.

order went great. Informed it was in production then nothing. Contacted them about 30 days after order and they replied my order was ready to ship out the next day., That occurred on both of the orders! How amazing I figured out my order was ready exactly one day before it was ready to ship.

I have used Active Ventilation products for almost 20 years. I have worked with them for removing waste heat from cell sites and using it to keep generator rooms warm and dry and saving up to 30% on power bills. I also used them for a house that I bought that was impossible to cool. I used their system for getting the heat off the ceiling and into the attic and from the attic to the outdoors and not only saved $100.00 a month on electricity bills but was able to cool the house. My latest purchase was three of the solar, fan assisted vents. I have installed them and can tell a difference after only a week. My undersized HVAC system is actually turning off in the daytime now. I haven't had a power bill yet, but it stands to reason that if the unit is running less, the bill will be less.

Active's products are high quality and do what they say they will do. My relationship with Martin and Ethan has been all good, with them doing exactly what they say they will do.

I do recommend their products and suggest that anyone, with a ventilation problem, work with them to find a solution. Their many years of experience can point you in the right direction and save you money in the long run, or provide the ventilation you may need for a regulatory issue.
