I ordered 4 dahlia tubers. Only 2 grew, one of which is severely stunted. I emailed them twice but have not had the courtesy of a reply let alone an apology/reimbursement. If I could have awarded no stars I would have done so.
I have never known such bad service online. I should have read the reviews before I dealt with these people. Avoid!

I ordered 4 sets of tulips. Came very quickly packaged thoughtfully and the bulbs were huge! Extremely good quality. First time ordering and will definitely order again.

Poor quality Dahlia tubers 7 of them unusable.

Placed an order 15th February and called up to enquire about a delivery time as heard no communications and had ideally wanted the bulbs for a family birthday present in March.

The man who answered explained that they are still processing orders since January and was unable to give me a lead time (did not ask for an order number). He bluntly said the email confirmation has a lead time in it and it was my fault for not reading it properly.

Already upset by this, I challenged him on this as after checking, his sagepay email does not specify any delivery or lead time - the man argued back saying “they do because I write them”. But they don’t!

Was told “we do not live in an Amazon world” and that orders can take days or months and “that’s the problem with running a successful business (!)”

Unprovoked, he then went on to say that my call is only delaying him packing more orders (!)

Completely in shock at this business’ lack of customer service, I asked whether I could cancel the order because of the service I’ve revived on the phone. The reply was “of course you can, write by email and good luck getting these bulbs anywhere else”

I am completely aghast at the words I’ve heard on the phone and will never order from this company again. A truly awful and upsetting experience.

Have purchased dahlia tubers over a number of years from rose cottage have always been superb quality and this year is no different the order was well packed I was notified when it was arriving duly arrived and the tubers were top quality well done great service.

I've been purchasing dahlia tubers from this company for several seasons and the quality and service have always been exceptional. Tubers arrive healthy and have always been exactly as ordered. Packing is amongst the most eco-friendly, with no plastic involved. You are required to purchase three tubers of the same type, however, if you love dahlias, or have people you can swap or gift spare tubers to, this doesn't pose an issue.
