My husband and I were very lucky to receive two full day vouchers for Christmas from family and so enjoyed the day. The studio is easy to find, with free parking
Communication throughout the experience was excellent. Using telephone and e-mail. Gill and Grainne were wonderful in assisting us during the day explaining the process of painting on glass, the tools used and indeed assisting us in making items we were delighted with. They have loads of ideas to assist beginners.
Hot drinks are offered and the soup and sandwich for lunch all home made. Delicious.
These two ladies welcomed us from start to finish into their home and lives, sharing their expertise.
Items in the afternoon require the Kiln, but can be posted out as we live some hours away, once they are fired.
A truely wonderful day of something totally different, which is what we needed.

I attended a Stained & Fused Glass Taster Course - Full Day earlier this year and enjoyed it so much I returned for a second time.
As well as the instruction being one teacher to a maximum of three students it was both well paced and at my level of understanding. Lunch was a sandwich of choice with a bowl of delicious home made soup. The cabin where the course took place was in beautiful surroundings and very comfortable. I cannot recommend this venue and Gill and Grainne's friendly instruction enough. Thanks ladies

They made us feel very welcome, gave excellent instruction and were helpful and patient throughout.
I'd very much recommend the session, no matter what skill level.

We had a fabulous day with great company and great instruction, topped off with a tasty home made lunch. We were able to take home our stained glass creations and are looking forward to picking up our fused glass pieces when they have been fired. Thank you ladies xx

A fantastic creative days course. Learning how to cut glass, solder and produce a stained glass piece. Lunch was a lovely cold platter of salads, pates, meats cheeses & bread. The afternoon was learning all the elements of fused glass. Creating pieces to be fired and shaped in the kiln. A welcoming relaxed space. Grainne taught a range of glass skills sharing her knowledge offering guidance & assistance when needed in a pateint manner. Amazing fun inspiring your creativity. Highly recommend.

My daughter and had a fantastic day on the stained & fused glass taster course. Gill and her partner were very welcoming and very knowledgeable. It was extremely well resourced and everything explained in detail. We managed to produce some lovely hanging stained glass and made also fused glass bowls and an under the sea wave piece. Lunch was homemade an soooo tasty😋 We shall be back for some other sessions soon. Thank you ladies, you were amazing and very welcoming 😀 xx

The ladies were extremely friendly, guided my 13 yr old granddaughter, my Daughter in Law and myself (an OAP) through the processes in a very patient, articulate and explanatory way. They demonstrated the processes first and gave assistance to each individual in the class when required. When I asked my granddaughter what she thought of the class, her reply was, "it was awesome, I would love to do it again". Myself, (OAP) am definitely going to book again and maybe try some of the other classes that they teach. I would love to repeat the same glass taster course again, it was so enjoyable. Thank you ladies for a lovely, enjoyable class. I can highly recommend you both to others.

I did the glass art full day taster and had a fantastic day, the two teachers where very welcoming and experienced, the size of the class was great because you got enough individual attention that you could complete the projects in the time provided. I loved the pieces that I completed and would definitely recommend these classes! The home made lunch provided was also lovely.

Fantastic experience making two stained glass panels. Extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Very patient and guided us through with so much knowledge. Lovely lunch and made us feel really welcome. Really recommend the two day stained glass course. We loved it so much we are coming back soon to do another course .

Wow, what a fantastic experience. Gill and Grainne were absolutely lovely ladies. Nothing was too much trouble. We were welcomed into their home for our residential stay. All food and drinks were included, and was excellent. We were able to create our own designs and with some tweaks from Grainne we were ready to start. Gill is an expert tutor and we were given help and support in abundance. We are really delighted with our stained glass panels and they were expertly wrapped for the journey home.
I would whole heartedly recommend this course to anyone who is willing to give it a go.

Absolutely made up with the stained glass taster workshop! Really enjoyed myself and felt I was really looked after and taught well! The ladies were happy to answer any questions and were helpful and accommodating.
Everything you could possibly need was provided with a good selection of glass available as well as refreshments throughout.
The parking was easy to find with plenty of space. The room we used was lovely and cosy but with enough space for us all to work comfortably! Fully recommend!

What a lovely morning of stained glass in a welcoming and tranquil setting. Gill and Grainne are so kind and patient. Class size was ideal for ensuring everyone was supported in their learning and resources were plentiful without being overwhelming.

Lovely studio in a beautiful location,where we were taught to create a stained glass hanging ornament. Really friendly, patient ladies who couldn't do more to make the experience special and worthwhile. Such a relaxing, great morning and delicious coffee and biscuits too! Thank you, we'll be back😍

Gill and Grainne facilitated a wonderfully relaxing, creative and inspiring day. They are both fantastic teachers and hosts, delivering patient and clear instruction, as well as delicious, nourishing food for lunch!

As group, we felt incredibly cared for and were able to create beautiful glass pieces, despite having no prior experience at all!

I can't recommend their workshop enough and I'm already looking forward to participating in another one!
