Had Ross Care come today to replace the tyres on my wheelchair & make a few adjustments to the brakes & clean out the castor bearing (If you know you know) Gary Thompson their technician who came was excellent Thank you 😀

My wheelchair was broken and the man who had been given the job to fix it GARY THOMPSON was told the wrong item had to be fixed.
I was upset because my Dad had had a heart attack and I desperately needed to see him.
GARY, went above and beyond to help my situation by going back to work to fetch the correct part needed.
Gary Thompson restored my faith ....there are still good people in the world, his kindness and professionalism was exceptional. If there was more than 5 stars I would give more. Thank you Gary.

Gary Thompson was very friendly, very helpful. I feel Gary went above and beyond to fix my wheelchair. Garys work was great, I was really pleased with what he did. I would highly recommend Gary Thompson .

Have to say Sean Taylor came out as an emergency and at first was unsure if he could fix my wheelchair. Then had a brainwave and managed it with a bit of ingenious thinking.

Terry Tunesi went that extra mile on repairing our daughters wheelchair today. Very thorough and with an understanding of disabled people and their reliance on their wheelchair. Lovely bloke. Thank you :)

Very polite and helpful engineer ( Terry Tunesi) who phoned ahead to say when he w’d arrive and he did arrive on time.
Collected wheelchair and went thru paperwork efficiently.

Gary Thompson came out today to service my daughter’s wheelchair, which had developed an annoying squeak whenever it was being pushed. He was friendly, helpful and got it sorted quickly – the wheelchair is now lovely and quiet again!

I also really appreciated that rather than having to wait in all day, Gary rang to let us know he would be with us in around 20 minutes and checked that it was convenient. I think this is a really thoughtful way of doing things, particularly for anyone who may be vulnerable, as you know exactly when to expect someone at your door.

Really pleased with the service we received today. Thank you, Gary!

We had Sean Taylor out to help after a cable broke on the tilt mechanism. Sean come out promptly was quick to offer reassurance that he would be able to sort the problem as it was a dangerous position for feeding in the wheelchair. He was lovely really nice guy and sorted the problem quickly. Thanks Sean your a ⭐️

Gary Thompson attended my husband today for his wheelchair repair he rang ahead giving an estimated time of arrival (which we don't often get we are sat waiting in all day when really I or my husband want to go out. ) It was rather warm today in the sun and a difficult repair he spent over an hour here. Changed all 4 wheels and fixed a foot rest (that foot rest has caught my leg a few times it really hurt glad he fixed that) so yes my husband is very pleased with the repair job today.

Terry Tunesi delivered the wheelchair - he was very polite snd courteous. He gave very clear info re using the wheelchair and demonstrated the correct way to carry out different manoeuvres He checked I had no further questions, explained what to do if anything went wrong or we needed it to be picked up

Gary came identified the problem and fixed it. In addition he renewed both armrests. Jobs done quickly and efficiently. Excellent service.

Can I tell you about Nigel George who is an Engineer with this Company. He has called before to put right any problems and let me say he is one of the nicest Chaps you could wish to meet. Always arrives with a smile, remembers us and does a marvellous job no matter how hard that job may be. We cannot speak highly enough Of Nigel George or the good work in repairs he carries out - so thank you! Ross Care.

Recently paralysed and this was my first interaction with the local wheelchair services as farmed out to Ross Care.

The wheelchair arrived broken and dangerous. Transferring in and out was dangerous and difficult and the major risk is getting my hands and arms trapped.

When I could eventually get through the Staff were extremely belittling.

Apparently I must have broken it as they check the chairs before they go out. So in the 2 weeks I had the chair I must have broken it and by detailing what had actually happened in their eyes I was a liar.

They did get a repair man out quickly who when he examined the part couldn't fix it at the part had been machined incorrectly so screws could not ever have been tightened properly.

It therefore must have been broken when they sent it out. This did ease my anxiety as the accusatory stance of the Ross Care employee made me feel like I had done something wrong.

They now have new parts but cannot deliver them until the 31st of July as they are so busy with repairs.....

This is my first wheelchair which by the time it's fixed I will have had for nearly 2 months without really being able to use it safely.

Do better, act better, be better Ross Care.

Sean Taylor attended today to change a part on my wheelchair. He was very friendly and professional. He did a very good job in very quick time leaving me very happy and able to get on with my day👍
