Overcharges and Upcharges, Labor Rate Not Posted - Beware!
Here is what happened to me at Route 11 Automotive Repair over the last year.
Without my knowledge, I was charged for full synthetic (almost twice the price) when getting an oil change. On the next visit, work for a problem that had been done some time ago elsewhere for half the price was charged. Their invoices do not itemize parts or labor or "total fees" that are added on. The labor rate was not posted anywhere at the shop in those 2 visits and is not on the website as of this review (a violation of state law and customer trust).
On those visits, the overcharges were about $375, including those mysterious fees.
These things have no doubt happened to other people. Don't know how they get away with it. The only reason to get work done there was convenience, but it's not worth the rip off. Stay away.
