Bought a suit that protects from paint etc i bought the more expensive one as it said it was good for asbestos. I was cutting up a fibreglass boat. I put suit on and the zip just fell off in my hand. I took it back in the afternoon...bloke couldn't give a toss...rude, obnoxious...there you go when he processed the refund, get that wobble of the desk
Santa’s Grotto
Firstly the staff at the garden centre on the checkout were very friendly.
A big mention to the Elves, Olly and Freya who made the whole experience fun for my daughter.
Of course l must mention Santa who my daughter believes ,l quote” the real Santa”.
The activities ,the attention to detail and her gift were simply amazing for the price we paid.

My favourite store!
My favourite store such lovely products especially gifts. The staff are so cheerful, friendly and chatty. Will definitely visit again on our next holiday.
exceptional on every level.
A few weeks back my partner and myself went to Wroxham for the day and stopped for a coffee in a newish cafe. On our second visit it was busy and lacked any choice so we decided to " cross the road" and visit Roys cafe , adjacent to the food hall.
That was also busy, however i saw many staff, serving, clearing, making, pouring, you name it they were all doing it.!
We thoroughly enjoyed our coffee and choice of cake.
Today ( 30th) Roys cafe was our go to first port of call. Same as before busy but with plenty of staff.
We had are usual coffee and a different choice from the selection of cakes.
We then WENT BACK a few hours later to buy a sandwich to take away, again very busy but at no time were the staff stressed, rude or showing a "couldn,t care less attitude"
Having work in retail for 30 odd years and serving the general public i know how demanding people can be.
They will complain but never praise.
So today that it going to be different, CONGRATULATIONS to ALL the team at Roys, especially Tina and Jo. You can probably guess who we were....but who cares. i hope management see this and take time to thank you all.
We shall be back, oh and i almost forgot..........Crab sandwich in Cromer £16, crab sandwich here £6.
Whingers...............go elsewhere.....!!

Roy’s of Wroxham is the Harrods of the Norfolk broads
Roy’s of Wroxham is one of my favourite shops. It has a big product range, lots of free parking and is good value.
As far as I am concerned this place is like the Harrods of the Norfolk broads!
Item incorrectly priced on shelf
Item incorrectly priced on shelf, they refused to honour the displayed price giving very weak excuses about it not being their fault, obviously it was but the manager dug their heels in and I ended up buying what I wanted on line.
Put me off supporting a local business after 20+ years of custom
Where's my parcel
Royal mail said they couldn't deliver because of access problems. The next time they said they'd attempted they said there was nobody in when we had put a sign up saying knock loudly we are in (not that we are deaf) just to make it clear that we are in. Yet no card was left , then I had the parcel to be redelivered to my local post office and it has not been sent so have waited in to see if they deliver it here, but it hasn't arrived and it is now six o clock very poor service good knows when I'll get it no parcel arrived they had up to 7.30 god so fed up want my goods which 8 have paid for looks like another phone call tomorrow.
Item arrived damaged, packging open, Avoid.
Item arrived, package ripped open, box heavily damaged.
Christmas shop

Ordered Lego online as the price seemed…
Ordered Lego online as the price seemed reasonable. On the day of the delivery the problems began. Received an email to say the order had been delivered with a picture of someone else’s front door and another picture of a topless guy standing by a box. The email stated that the order was delivered to my address and signed for by someone that doesn’t exist. Contacted Roy’s. Was told driver would return to resolve the issue. Load of rubbish. 2 days later and various emails later, apparently he’s delivered it to a neighbour ( I’ve spoken to all of them ) but we’re still awaiting a door number? Really? Failure to take responsibility of a mistake clearly. Meanwhile I’m £135 out of pocket with no hope of a resolution. Joke!!
Bad Packaging
I ordered a set of cutlery for a wedding present from this company. The box it came in was damaged, but due to time restrictions I can't return & reorder. More care needs to be taken, goods should not be sent out in this state. Because of this I would not recommend using this company.
Very rude woman in the food hall
Very rude woman in the food hall. What ever has happened to customer service? This shop must be the worst in Norfolk.

Was heading to roys this morning to do some shopping in their stores at wroxham only to find out that dogs are banned from most of their stores, can’t believe such a well known company discriminates against people with dogs, yet guide dogs are allowed!! That’s unbelievable, a dog is a dog.
Obviously i will boycott Roys for future Visits.
Maybe the management need to think about changing their decision about banning a family pet dog from most or their stores, this is 2024 after all 👎🏼

I love a look around Roy's, never had any complaints.
Purchased a Wilkinson Sword lawn edging…
Purchased a Wilkinson Sword lawn edging knife on 9 April, used for the first time 13 April and the handle broke away from the blade.
Unfortunately I mislaid the receipt but returned the broken item with a copy of my bank statement as proof of purchase.
They searched their system and said they could find no evidence of the sale, so could not do anything about it, even though I was prepared to purchase a more expensive version.
Having moved to Norfolk in 2023 and spending a considerable amount of money in Roys, they have now lost my custom.
Moral of the story, hang on to receipts, as their system is obviously faulty.

Went in and brought a Chicago town pizza for £2.50 got home went to open them up and that was disgustingly tiny stop selling these crap pizzas giving false advertisement for big pizzas when they are smaller then my head. Rip off im not happy
Roys at Highways Garden Centre disappointing
This review relates to Highways garden centre which Roys now runs. Much improvement is needed. The coffee shop is too slow. We had to queue for half an hour. The coffee was good but the pastry stale. No-one was clearing the tables whilst we were there.
Ongoing refurbishment meant it was tricky finding your way around. Choice of items, including in the garden centre, was much reduced. Prices generally seemed average or above.
We might try again but not for a while as it was such a disappointing visit.
