RSPCA Pet Insurance (UK) Reviews 

My Vets submitted a claim for over £1900 and I was awarded just over £200. I will not be continuing with this Insurance when it runs out!

Awful experience with them. I rescued a puppy from the RSPCA, and was given 28 days free cover with them. I thought great! However, when my pup went for her vaccinations she had an allergic reaction, meaning a costly trip to the out of hours vet. This was stressful enough. Submitted my claim and they classified it as “accidental” meaning they wouldn’t cover it!! I rang them up to dispute, and they’d said it was their fault and it should have been covered and would be back in touch with a decision in 3-5 days. 3 working days later, and I get told it has been reviewed and they would be in touch within TEN days! I’m £400 out of pocket, and waiting nearly a month for them to pay out. I rang them to ask why there is a delay and their advisor was incredibly rude and unhelpful. By the time they should pay out, my free cover will have ended as I will not be purchasing cover after this experience.

Process was easy to navigate and arrange the cover choices were comprehensive.

I can honestly say that this is a very good insurance company for dogs, especially for an Akita, as many other insurers refuse to cover this breed. The price is also very reasonable, especially considering that my previous insurer wanted to charge me four times more for my dog’s insurance.
I highly recommend them!

1st time using it

Horrendous costumer service. Call centre is basically useless - long waits , rude handlers … and the website has very little functionality so you end up having to call the bloody call centre anyway. Avoid! There are better insurers out there.

Call centre utterly useless as after waiting on hold for 30+ minutes on 3 occasions, I still got no answer.

Very easy to set up, everything in plain English, no fancy jargon. Very competitive prices and it's supporting a good cause.

I just want to thank the customer service and team at RSPCA pet insurance, they was so understanding and compassionate… going above and beyond to, make sure my dog could get the treatment she needed.
Can't thank them enough, would rate them 10 stars if i could.

Good price good cover

We needed our puppy insured so decided on the RSPCA. It was really easy to set up on line. The monthly/yearly payments were affordable. Really pleased with my choice.

So far all looks very promising as I had to contact them to change policy start date and found them very helpful.
