Total scam, do not engage! Rang me weeks after an insurance claim to “clarify details” about the accident from a withheld number. I’ve never had any dealings with the company and have no idea where they got my details from. I challenged the caller about where he got my details from and he just hung up. Will be complaining to my insurance company.

Received a phone call (unknown number) Brian from RTA Assistance, claiming there is outstanding damage report in regards to an accident I had on 7/10/25 (this part is true, my correctly parked car was hit accidentally by another vehicle) they knew all my personal details, accident etc but when I said no one was injured and and why they need this information as my insurance company is still dealing with it, he hung up the phone! Don’t engage in conversation with them, they are trying to make money out of your situation

3 months after a minor motor accident these possible scammers called me and pfished for personal information. They claim to be needing information to update their 'report'. They could not however explain what this report was, who they worked for or what role they undertook in the end to end claims process. Number withheld is a bit of a give away. When we researched RTA Assistance on the web and called them on the website phone number they denied undertaking cold calling and even went as far as to distance themselves from the original caller. Was this really RTA Assistance? Who know? Who cares? Smells proper pfishy to me.

What a poor, scam style company. They called me - 'Harry' telling me I had a car accident within the last 2 years and they got my info from the UK National Survey Dept - apparently a government dept (None exist, unsurprisingly).
When I enquired further they hung up on me.

Purely speculative, compensation chasing.

BTW I don't even have a car.

They hit my rental car and kept going has not yet paid anything lashing money out of my own pocket after missing work and appointments and they was at fault if this was a regular person they would have been arrested nothing happened to the person driving bus 6041 on 8-30-2023 so I went to police to file a complaint and of course you can't wth I need help with this Donna Bernard should not have a job very rude and is a liar and Rta was at fault 3 months later nothing done yet Tisha carr is a horrible person never answers phn always out of office

Only for him to tell me he was coming to f@@k me then asked for my address.
Clearly a scam from start but really feel for people that fall for this ,something needs to be done about these scammers !

Obvious Scam
They found my car that I posted on gumtree and use those information to scam me. Guy can't even shake the Indian accent. The car is on sorn. When he finally lost it he call me names and blessed my entire family.

Company uses personal information (which was likely illegally obtained) to cold call about nonexistent accidents, and dishonestly claim you are 'pre-approved' compensation.
Phishing scam. Avoid.

This company ring me sometimes twice a day every day despite me asking them to not do so, taking names , blocking the numbers

I am sick of it and multiple other people are too I have not had a car accident? The unsolicited call report will not complete

I paid £2000 to start with to sell my business . Then I had to pay £600 to have an energy efficient certificate . At that point I told them I didn’t want to continue with the sale , but they told me I had to pay another £3000 otherwise I’d be taken to court . Like a fool I paid it even though I was broke already . Not one person came to see my salon in the year before my lease ended . Now I’m being hounded by them for money I owe them ?? £5 and half grand for an advert I told them I didn’t want and they are saying they are going to take me to court . I wish them luck . They are rip off merchants . DO NOT TRUST THEM AT ALL !!

Completely unprofessional customer support. Poor communications

When you search for RTA assistance on Google it comes up with a link to their website and also a link to a section on Unsolicited calls on there website, which states that they do not partake in that type of activity! and yet just a few minutes ago I received an unsolicited call from them about a compensation claim I have no knowledge of, for an accident I have not had, that they could not confirm the details of. Scam/fraudulent company. Avoid Avoid Avoid

RTA assistance please do not confirm your details as they are a scam company which retrieves your personal information.i had recently generate a quote from comparative car insurance website. IT SEEMS TO ME THE WEBSITE HAS PROVIDED MY DETAILS TO RTA WELL SOMEONE HAS. RTA can not confirm road traffic incident which means they are retrieving your information to use for own purposes.

RTA Assistance has shocking customer service. They
took on our loss of earnings case due to 3rd party fault accident in June 2019. We have had to chase constantly for updates only to keep getting advised there are no time limits to these types of claims and that they were chasing 3rd party weekly. When we asked for proof of correspondence that RTA has been having with 3rd party they could not provide. Instead, they threatened us to say if we do not pay their appointed Body shop VAT, they will not communicate with us.

WE HAVE NOT SAID WE WILL NOT PAY VAT ONLY THAT WE WOULD LIKE TO SEE ALLEGED WEEKLY COMMUNICATIONS MADE BY RTA WITH 3RD PARTY.

The Claims Manager and Complaints Manager have not been at all helpful. They have emailed to say due to our criticism (asking for evidence they are acting on our behalf) they can no longer represent us.
