Wood quality was poor
Wood quality was poor, 18 out of 78 peices of Larch which cost £1200 were unusable due to damage, customer service was good as they agreed to replace 7 of them and a edging peice with delivery the following week.

Kept in the loop from quote to delivery
From quote to delivery I was kept in the loop with the progress of my order, my gates turn up at the time promised, although I did have a problem with the vehicle tracking, it seemed that the lorry was stuck on the m5 when actually it was outside of my drive🙃. The gates were as promised and look great on my driveway.

This was the second time that I ordered some timber from Ruby UK. First time I ordered it went very well with delivery as planned and so as I needed to get some kore timber, I was very happy to go back and order more from Ruby UK. I am sure I will be ordering more from them.

Reasonable cladding supplier
We use them to supply materials for our latest garden room project. Mixed bag experience, some good and some bad things.
Good:
- good price
- short lead time
- early morning delivery
- reasonably dealt with after-sale issues
Bad:
- Some of the cladding planks were covered in mold and could not be used.
So we had to call them back and sort out the issue with the planks that we couldn't use. They sent us a replacement swiftly and without issues.
Not great that our schedule was messed up since we couldn't fit the cladding when we were planning to, but to be fair, they dealt with the issue as best as they could.
We will probably use them again on the next project.

Mouldy, wet, unusable shed.
Very friendly sales team and good delivery, (although delivery truck contained many faulty returns, so guess should have been suspicious then). Shed went mouldy within a short period of time and panels are wet inside. When contacted they said other customers have had to make modifications for similar reasons suggesting design is not fit for purpose and or wood not adequately treated. They do not offer any warranty so left with mouldy, wet, leaky, unusable shed.

Disappointing.
Timber was completely soaked on arrival. Timber was not accurately cut to the correct length the variation was wild.

The company is legit and deliver but...
The company is legit and deliver. I had a first delivery that went fine, but the second was disappointing. The planks were packed fine but when I opened, the planks in the middle were very wet with a lot of verdigris. I will clean it and it will be probably fine, but not nice to see... I mean, all you want when you get wood delivered is good quality, otherwise you go to B&Q.

Poorly Made Gate
I bought a timber gate from this firm. Wish I had been at home when it was delivered, I would have sent it back. Flimsy and cobbled together by some halfwit, that could not be bothered to sink in the fixing nails or drive fully in the screws. Absolute garbage, now consigned to the tip!
