The product labels are extremely misleading. 'Health' in large letters on the front of the packet, and at the back 'UHT', and '1% almond'. While on the front there are pictures of almonds, and the product is marketed as an 'almond drink'. I am very surprised such misleading advertising is legal.
Hazelnut milk insipid
Hazelnut milk insipid, weak and pale. No taste of Hazelnut. Bought as my usual Alpro milk was out of stock. Never again.
The most misleading brand on the face…
The most misleading brand on the face of the earth. Their organic “almond” milk has only 1% almond. Definitely not buying anything from this brand ever again. You’re better off buying a brand that’s not as misleading as this Rude Health
The smell of ammonia from the cereal is…
The smell of ammonia from the cereal is so strong that I couldn’t eat it a few years ago. Decided to give it another try and bought one yesterday. I didn’t even open it yet and the smell of ammonia was so bad it actually made me physically sick twice today!!
Totally misleading product
Totally misleading product. 0% nutritional benefits this should not be stocked anywhere. Heading back to Tesco for an exchange as we speak. Horrible

VILE… omg… absolutely disgusting….first time trying and the last… ewwww. omg..feel sick now..🤢🤢🤢
Really annoyed by this product
Really annoyed by this product, completely misleading claim about what the product is…there’s probably a higher proportion of almond in real cows milk than there is in this cheapy rice milk. Will never touch this brand again.
Insect Granola
Insects in the granola. All over national press. Lost customer. Concerns about production standards and their labelling is dodgy if you look at other reviews.
Ym have to do better I'm working on…
Ym have to do better I'm working on your business in school and all I'm seeing is ones
Almond milk is actually rice milk
Almond milk is actually rice milk with 1% almonds.
False claims on sugar content
False claims on sugar content. Very high levels of sugar in the "no added sugar" almond milk. Much higher than standard almond milks WITH added sugar. They are gaming the system by adding sugar through sugary ingredients.
RUDE HEALTH.. not healthy what's so ever!
Take for instance it's *almond* milk. Ingredients: *rice*, Italian almonds (1%), cold-pressed sunflower oil, sea salt... Why have rice and sunflower oil? The former means if you are gluten-free, you can't enjoy the alternative, the latter is pro-inflammatory (and bad for your health). It is very disappointing to see institutions that are trying to lure "health-conscious consumers" while they are serving Rude Health products. Why not use Plenish which has only 3 ingredients (AS IT SHOULD BE)... WATER, ALMONDS, AND SEA SALT. That is it. Not to mention that it is so high in calories compared to other almond milk substitutes. Not good for your health.
Disgusting flavour
As others have commented, I have been buying brown rice milk for a very long time. The last purchases have an extremely unpleasant flavour and have all ended up being disposed of. I thought it was just one carton, but no.
I have emailed, before reading this, and will wait to see if I get a response.
Food Poisoning!
Food Poisoning!
Would never buy again and aftercare was poor.
Terrible customer service
I have been drinking Rude Health Brown Rice Milk for a number of years, the recent batch has a disgusting taste. Called them up explained the situation and was told they would get back to me, they didn’t, so i called a further two times with the same outcome. Lost a customer.
I used to like this company
I used to like this company, particularly when they started adding calcium in the form of natural seaweed to their plant milks. Then suddenly it stopped. When I contacted them enquiring as to why I was ignored. So I'll buy a machine and make my own. They've lost a customer. Poor customer service.
Dishonest and misleading packaging
Dishonest and misleading packaging. Their organic Almond milk is in fact mainly rice based, only has 1% Almond content and also includes sunflower oil.
If you want to sell a rice drink with almond, you need to make sure your packaging states that in an honest and transparent way. The front facing packaging makes no mention of rice, instead it has three almonds and what looks like milk!! Whilst this may be legally permissible, when you read the actual ingredients on the back, it feels like you have been lied to and that you have not bought what you actually think you did. You say, you are in rude health when your Dolce is Vita. You are in rude health when you and food manufacturers are honest and fully transparent about what they are actually putting in their products and selling. Rude Health sadly, despite the marketing, appears not to be one of them. This will be the last time I ever buy your products. There are companies like Plenish that sell you what you actually think you are buying and I suggest any supermarkets reading these reviews, truly question this supplier and force it to be re-labeled or take it off your shelves.
Product labels are misleading and can…
Product labels are misleading and can be perceived as border line scams. NO SUGAR ADDED for rude health means "let's put a s.. load of rice syrup and screw up every body who needs to limit its carb intake. (ex: sugar free soy milk Alpo - carb 0/100g, sugar free soy rude health, 4g of carbs, 40g for the entire container--ridiculous...) Also, for rude health pure almond milk means, rice milk with 1% almond, wow, COME ON GUYS!
SHRINFLATION RIP OFF.
SHRINFLATION RIP OFF.
We all know products are becoming smaller & smaller yet the consumer is still being charged the same, if not a higher price for a product.
We all know the price of supplies has gone up so businesses have to reduce product or inflate their prices.
BUT when Rude Health reduce their boxes of cereals by a whopping 20% yet still charge the same and assume the consumer is stupid / naïve not to notice their sneaky little rip off tactics. E.G labelling products with 'NEW RECIPE' in the hope we don't notice the massive shrinkage of volume OR the contents of the box are actually less than half the size of the packaging!
THEN when you write to them about it their further patronise and insult your intelligence with avoidant spiel about "Reducing the size and not increasing the price has allowed us to continue never compromising on our promise of delicious taste from high quality, sustainably-sourced ingredients"
YES they had to make the difficult decision to shrink the contents due to high level of inflation and have mitigated price increases for years BUT a MASSIVE 1/5 of the ingredients have disappeared!
Then when I pointed out that actually we're NOT paying the same price - we're paying MORE per 100g now, they blame the supermarkets for pricing, stating that they cannot control what the supermarkets charge!
JUST OWN IT.
I think it's abhorrent that businesses continue to rip customers off with massive shrinkage then shirk the responsibility. SO sick of being ripped off at single angle!
I'll make my own cereal with their recipe/ingredients from now on! And will buy other brands and supermarket versions of their rip off products.
Rude Health can’t be trusted
Rude Health is an example of how we’re being ripped off by health-damaging food companies.
“Chilled Almond with Calcium” is a disgusting example. On the pack, the No Added Sugar Sicilian Almonds are “grown in groves … until they’re fall-off-the-tree ripe” which sounds great but it isn’t because they are only 1% of the content. The rest is a disgustingly sweet soup of rice water. Maybe nice added to very strong coffee. That’s all.
Even Alpro has 2.3% almonds.
This Rude Health brand cannot be trusted. My family will never buy their products again.
