Appalling customer service - no sh*ts were given

I ordered 2 large rug underlays with free next day delivery, chosen specifically due to urgent need
Evri messed up delivery multiple times over 10 days so I contacted Rugs Direct who proposed a solution and to call back. Nothing. 2 weeks after order they thought Evri might try again. Totally refused any sort of compensation and barely apologised. I cancelled the order in disgust at the rude, blasé treatment I received so can’t comment on quality of product

We ordered a large rug...Never again

We ordered a large rug...it turned up very quickly, (about 2 days) however, there was a large hole in it. I emailed the company (including photos) and they were very apologetic and organised a replacement to be sent out, this was on the 4th of September. The replacement couldn't be delivered until the 10th. Unfortunately (rather ridiculously) the driver would not take the faulty rug with him, when he dropped off the replacement. we were told there would be two different drivers turning up. (Inefficient to say the least) However, no-one turned up to collect the original rug. The 2nd rug had an even bigger hole in it, seriously. So then we had 2 large rugs, clogging up our hallway (won't fit anywhere else) Once again I emailed immediately, including photos. Got more apologies etc. But when I queried the fact that no-one had been to collect the 1st faulty rug the company couldn't tell me why. They then told me that their suppliers were closed until Weds 12th September due to it being a Jewish holiday. Okay, no-one can help that, fair enough. But when I bypassed Rugsdirect2u to talk to the supplier direct yesterday they said their driver had been to collect the rug but that I and they named me directly, had told them there was nothing to collect. They said basically there was nothing they could do, who can prove he didn't come and I wasn't in the shower etc? well I can...I have CCTV, and why say he spoke to me??? Anyway, they said they would get the driver to come out today, I asked if they could at least make us the first collection (as an act of goodwill etc) after all, this is the 3rd day I've had off work now. (we were meant to go on holiday on Wednesday as well) But no, can't do that, that's up to the collection company, what time they go where etc, talk about unhelpful. Anyway, having sat in AGAIN all day today, no-one has been by the pick up the rugs. We are going to have to go on holiday tomorrow which means they can't have the rugs until after we get back which also means we can't get our refund until after that. How is it that in 2018 customers can still be treated this way. Rugsdirect2u need to sort out their relationship with their suppliers, they have now lost us and our neighbours and family (who have all heard the sorry tale) as customers. Rugsdirect2u need to get better suppliers. The staff at rugsdirect2u were courteous and polite but that's no help when they are at the mercy of incompetent suppliers. Asiatic Carpets are the suppliers so when buying online please be aware that the company you think you are dealing with won't take responsibility for sorting things when they go wrong, everyone in this story has passed that on. Rugsdirect2u onto their suppliers and Asiatic Carpets onto Tuffnells the delivery company. All very sad.

Rug return

I ordered a large rug which although was lovely was unsuitable for my room. I rang the sales department and spoke to two very helpful and polite ladies who told me to return it. I enquired at the post office but they said it was too big to return with their service. I spoke again to rugs direct and they advised me to find a local courier. I mus tadmit I did not do this as I was quite stressed at the time but said I would use the company that delivered the rug originally. The saleslady did warn me it would be expensive but I think £33 is extremely so. I shall never order something big online again.I cannot fault the sales staff as they have been extremely pleasant and courteous at all times but I am unhappy with the returns policy of the company.

Cheapest website for rugs and excellent customer service

I recently bought a large rug (200x285). It is called Florenza 560 Multi coloured rug. I had troubles to place the order online but then I called them and it went through. Ordered on Friday and arrived on Thursday. It's a rug sold by many seller but Rugsdirect2u was the cheapest option. Customer service kept me informed every day about the shipping.
I'm very pleased with my purchase and with this seller.
