I ordered a custom rug from Rugtomize (order 16498) on October 25, 2026, for $399. I told them I had a hard deadline of Thursday afternoon, October 29, and their production manager wrote back that the expedited options would arrive "before your Thursday-afternoon deadline." I paid $86.28 extra, and on October 28 they confirmed in writing that it would arrive "Thursday, October 29 by noon Pacific." The total was $485.28.
Noon on Thursday came and went with no rug, no tracking number and no notice of a delay. I only found out it would come a day late because I contacted them. I needed the rug for an event that evening and had no use for it afterward.
A manager called me back and was rude and dismissive. All he offered was about $40 off shipping. He refused a full refund, a discount on the rug, and delivery in time. Since the rug was already made, I was stuck paying for something I no longer needed, because of their mistake. My written request for a supervisor got no reply.
If you have a deadline, don't trust Rugtomize's delivery promises or pay for their expedited shipping.
