Happy and would order again

I've ordered from the website directly a few times (their clothes are also available on revolve.com, which is a very reputable and large site), and I've had a good experience each time. I received the items quickly, good condition. The website clearly states that they only offer store credit for returns so I don't think that is a valid complaint in some of these reviews, but it is an atypical return policy for large companies for regular priced items and possibly a disincentive to order, but its also possible it helps to keep prices lower. The reason I rated 4 instead of 5 stars is because of the sizing. I am 95 lbs, and ordered S size (even though at my current weight, I'm really an XS), and each time the top part of the dress (I ordered 3 dresses) was snug, but the bottom part was too big (was like a M) for 2 of the 3 dresses, and I had to get this taken in with a tailor. After the amendment, I was happy with the dresses. I like the styles, price is fair, and they also have sales sometimes. However, the sizing is off and should be improved on.

Do not buy from this scam website

Do not buy from this scam website. Bought in my size according to their sizing chart. The sizing was wildly out, when measuring the clothes they were easily 5-10 inches off what the size guide said. Items also had stains on them. They won't provide a refund saying items aren't faulty. Save yourself the money and time and do not buy anything from this website

Terrible experience - Scam- Theft

Terrible experience – avoid at all costs!
I ordered clothes and they were completely faulty – the pants were like crop pants on me (I’m 187cm tall) and way too small. The sleeves on the shirt were like an XXXL sleeve attached to a L, horrible.

The return process was a nightmare: tedious, drawn-out, and I even had to pay to send the items back. There were some items that were ‘not eligible for refund’ - absolute scam and theft!

After all of that hassle, instead of a refund I was given a gift card for the items that were eligible for refund. Why would I want store credit to buy more clothes that don’t fit, are faulty and are poor quality? Absolutely unacceptable.

Stay away from this store they are an absolute scam.

They put terrible clothes on good models to draw you in and then steal your money when you return them!

Excessive customs charges

Excessive customs charges. I bought a 40-euro shirt and they charged me 31 euros in customs. It's a complete scam. Order #128861adenas. No one answers my complaint.

The men’s shirt have poor fit for those under 6ft, refund is instore credit only

I purchased a shirt and have been disappointed every step of the way. I am 5’10’’ and 155lbs. I purchased an XS shirt and it falls down past my thighs. I like the oversized fit but this looks like a dress on me. Upon trying to return the shirt I found they only do refunds for instore credit, so I guess I can buy another shirt that doesn’t fit me…. Horrible experience. I will not be shopping here again.

They won't help, not the real deal. False brand.

Customer Service responds but blatantly ignores the content in the email, I have had issues getting actual responses from anyone at the company. I have tried everything - such poor service from what seemed like a luxury brand, so disappointing and frustrating when you just need some help. *Edit: After emailing daily, and chatting daily, I finally got a response and a resolution. Their customer service is subpar in comparison to their brand. Products are also lacking quality in comparison to the price. Overall, I would not recommend. If you must buy from their brand I would suggest getting it from Revolve instead as their service and returns is 10/10 you won't have to deal with the same frustrations I did.

Extremely disappointed !!

Extremely disappointed with the service! A product I ordered is terrible quality and fabric! Let alone the quality of the product being so poor, they have been extremely unhelpful in resolving the issue with either a return or replacement item. To pay $150 for a product that is far from acceptable is not okay.

Complex returns, no follow up, no credit, arrogant staff.

Followed all of their complicated return processes, submitted through the portal, paid for my return shipping, returned goods to their facility 5th August and they havent even given me credit or notice of return. Ive followed up with their team multiple times to follow up on their own processes - it's really disgusting service and an insult to their customers. Please do not buy from here it's a faff around, waste of money for average goods, bad sizing and no refunds or even promised credit. You basically have to beg them for the bare minimum.

Shocking online site

Shocking online site. They didn’t post my order out for 11 days! I had ordered it for an event. They don’t have refunds either so now I have a credit. They also were out of something they had advertised and just refunded me after the rest was delivered. Really awful service. Sadly, I have to order with them again to use up my credit.

This company doesn’t even deserve 1…

This company doesn’t even deserve 1 star, if I could give minus stars, I would.

Myself and three other bridesmaids ordered brand new $159 Gia dresses from the bridesmaid collection, and the quality was downright embarrassing. The second-hand dress one of my friends bought of the same dress, made the “brand new” ones look like they came from a bargain bin. These dresses were flimsy, cheap, and horribly made. I’ve seen better quality from Shein at the bottom of a clearance rack in Kmart.

When we complained, we were insulted with the claim that the new material was “better quality” than the old. What a joke. The fabric felt like stiff plastic, the seams stuck out in weird, pointy lumps, and instead of owning up to their shoddy workmanship, they actually blamed our bodies for “not fitting them properly.”

We requested a refund for our unworn dresses (tags still attached), but Mia was rude, dismissive, and has since ghosted us, ignoring four emails. Now, with less than a month until the wedding, we’ve had to waste even more money replacing these worthless rags.

This business sells overpriced garbage, lies about quality, and treats customers like a nuisance the second they’ve got your money. The lack of professionalism is disgusting. Avoid this company like the plague .. unless you enjoy throwing your cash away on trash and being treated with total contempt.

Slow slow slow

Slow slow slow- they pack slow and send slow- it took 10 workings days just to have my order shipped! I have given them 3 chances and I wont be back. Wrong dresses sent, took money and didn't have the dresses and lastly it states express delivery but doesn't state it takes two weeks to pack it.

Low quality operations and clothing fits

I'm really disappointed by the customer experience from this brand. Honestly, I don’t understand how they have repeat customers.

I measured myself carefully using a tailor’s tape and compared the results against their size charts before ordering. Despite this, only one of the three items I purchased fit — and even that was too big. The other two didn’t match the size chart at all, especially around the waist, and couldn’t be done up properly.

To make matters worse, Runaway’s support team refused to offer a size exchange or credit on one of the items, claiming it was a final sale. But I ordered it in good faith based on the size chart they provided — which clearly doesn't reflect the actual fit. This kind of refusal is not only unfair for an online retailer, it falls short of what should be standard practice under consumer law. I wasn’t even asking for a refund — I just wanted to wear the item I paid for.

The other two items were only eligible for store credit, and no refunds, which adds to the frustration — especially since these terms are buried in their website. Now that I know their sizing is unreliable, how am I supposed to confidently place another order? And with return shipping costs falling on the customer, I'm effectively losing money every time their products don’t fit — which seems highly likely based on this experience.

Overall, it feels like the people running this business have little regard for product quality, transparency, or customer satisfaction. I would strongly recommend shopping with one of the many other online retailers who treat their customers fairly and stand behind what they sell.

Gorgeous clothes, amazing service

I recently ordered from Runaway The Label for my Europe trip and couldn’t be happier! Their customer service team was incredibly responsive and helpful, quickly sorting out my queries. The dispatch and delivery were impressively fast – perfect when you’re on a tight schedule.

The clothes are absolutely gorgeous – stylish, flattering, and made from really pleasant fabrics that feel great to wear.

One thing to keep in mind: they don’t offer refunds, only store credit. So if you need to exchange a size or style, allow some extra time for the return to be processed. Otherwise, you might end up with a fair bit of credit like me:)

All in all, highly recommend – just read the returns policy before ordering. Will definitely be shopping with them again!
