I'm so happy I found Runoot! I signed up on the website and quickly (1 week before the marathon) found someone to exchange a bib with for the Chicago Marathon 2026.
To be fair, I was a little skeptical at first and wasn't sure if everything would actually work out. But honestly, I couldn't have asked for a better experience! We met in person to hand over the race materials & goodies. Everything went super smoothly, and he was really kind and helpful. He answered all my questions, and we even ended up chatting about Chicago and possible locations to visit here!
The best part is that I got to run the marathon together with my girlfriend, who was the only one of us to get a spot in the lottery. I was able to move to a lower corral to my girlfriend with no problems on race day. Being able to share that experience made our trip to Chicago so much more special :)
I'm really grateful that this worked out and we got to make such amazing memories together. Would definitely recommend Runoot! Thank you so much! :) Absolute recommendation +++

We know that finding a bib just a week before race day can feel uncertain, so hearing that everything went smoothly means a lot to us.
