no help only one check out open had a return only one person in before me it took 30 min for them and could only get store credit they would not let go for i could get the receipt the employee at the desk was very rude and now i have store credit to a store that i will never use will never go into rural king again!!!!!
the store in Springfield Ohio needs to be closed down

Too little customer service

I purchased 10 bags of compost, but no one showed up to help me load it. I recently had heart surgery so I was not supposed to lift 400 pounds. They called for help 3 times but nobody showed up to help. After 15 minutes I had to return and wait in line at the register to get a refund. There was only one cashier with 6 or more customers in line. They called for backup cashiers several times but nobody showed up. Far too little customer service to serve customers. Not a good store to shop. Zp code 44035

If I could give a zero I would!!!!

If I could give a zero I would!!!!! First time ordering and last!!!!! Cancel part of my order then cancel something else then cancel something else. The few things left still don’t have shipping confirmation!!!!! Shipping is outrageous!!!!

Zero stars Stay away!!!!

I would give them zero stars if possible, constantly selling things online when they have zero in stock to sell to begin with. Over hour hold times just to get a RUDE cust service rep, then they blame all of their terrible business practices on their "suppliers". I talked to a customer service rep, a super and a manager and all 3 were extremely unhelpful and RUDE!

Judson works outside handling mulch…

Judson works outside handling mulch among other duties. He is always polite, courteous and hard working. I highly recommend him!!
Having been in management my whole career, he is a model employee and I wanted to acknowledge him.
The store is located in Vincennes, IND 47591. I “think” the store # is 21 on my receipt.

Cancelled whole order

After days, I finally get an email that said they cancelled my whole order. No reasoning nothing. I had 10+ things. And my money will be refunded 8-15 days. This place seems sketchy. What a headache.

Elyria store, Tina asst store manager

I placed an online order for a Trough and four livestock gates. I received an email two days later stating that my order was ready for pick up, wish I thought was quite fast so I called the store to do my due diligence. When the phone was answered, I asked if my online order contained the trough or the trough and the livestock gates, I was placed on hold. The girl returned and said my whole order was in. So I hooked up a trailer to pick up the gates when I arrived at the store I was told that just the trough was there and that they had new people and it was my fault Tina, the assistantstore manager. I told her I hooked up my trailer for no reason and she said the new people wouldn’t of understood what a gate was… This is a store. I would think any anybody above the age of six would know what gate is I was offered for Nothing for my inconvenience.

Dry rotted tires

I purchased a yard trailer less than a year ago. Pulled it out of the garage for this year's use in both tires were flat. That in itself is not uncommon. I put air in them and they went flat immediately. I looked at the tires and they were completely dry rotted. Less than one year old. I took them back to rural King and asked if they would exchange them. They said no. I went outside to their front walk and found a trailer identical to mine and it had flat tires that were dry rotted. This is brand new. I explained to them their trailer outside has dry rotted flat tires. They didn't seem to care. Why should you buy a trailer and then have to buy a new set of tires for it. That's just unethical. I wanted to get a set of the flat-free tires that do not have air and I would pay the difference but they would not give me the credit for the other two tires. I have pictures of the new trailer with the flat tires that are dry rotted if anybody needs them.

Trying to return goods with a paper…

Trying to return goods with a paper receipt.store doesn't not have a posted return policy in the store.You have to scan an Qr code to see online.What their policy is.I was dubbed into thinking that I did not have to have a phone number or anything else to return the products other than the paper receipt We'll be contacting the state of Florida and find complaint. It's a clear discrimination against someone who owns a flip phone. Or wishes to remain private at what they purchase and return at a store

I asked about a small item and was…

I asked about a small item and was directed somewhere to the back of the store and told someone would meet me there. Suffice it to say, no one met me and I ended up hobbling out the store. Last time I visit the store. Just know they only help big ticketed items. Money is where it’s at.

Finished with RK

March 9. I ordered two dehumidifiers to be shipped to store, as I am in the area 3 or 4 times per month, so convenient pickup. While I was at it, I put bird seed in the order (I usually purchase when at this store). Within a few hours an email of order cancelled. I contacted customer service immediately on same day to inquire as to the problem. I spoke with Parker who explained the dehumidifier was not in stock at "the store", but that the seed was shipping. I knew that the dehumidifiers were not in stock at Winchester, and that is why I ordered -"ship to store". I also requested that Parker cancel the seed and obviously ridiculous shipping cost on a $13 item.
Today March 12, I receive an email and tracking number for the birdseed from FedEx. Call and speak with Cassidy who says it was in process at the warehouse/pique list and that the shipping was part of the TERMS agreed to when I placed the order.
Though I always liked RK, no more. Advice:be very cautious with their online store...

Again today I went to Rural King instead of TS

I went to RK today and once again I spent over $100. I shop there at least twice per month and never spend less than $50. I am a disabled veteran in a wheelchair.
TR choses not to have them in there stores. When I go to RK they have at least 8 chairs and they are always busy.
I have been past your warrenton store a few times and there are seldom any cars in the parking area. Not much to be said for a big new store.
Perhaps you should pay more attention to your reviews.

they are a scam outfit

they are a scam outfit. don't deserve one star. I ordered an item at very good advertised price. PayPal payment. Next day received msg that order was "cancelled" and a "refund" issued. I checked with PayPal and these folks drew $40.63 from my paypal acct and REFUNDED $10.79!!!!!!! I notified paypal, Rural King, and ftc and will continue reporting this company anywhere I can. They steal, deliberately.

Worst service I have ever experienced

After two weeks of waiting for shipping information on some firewood I ordered I called to check the status and was told it was placed on hold for verification, I was told if I hadn’t called I would have never been informed! They then stated it would take an additional 1-3 day for verification and another 1-3 weeks for processing!! I asked if there was a way to expedite the processing and they refused, said they were unable to do that. 4 days after calling to verify my information I received an email that my order had been cancelled with no explanation as to why. This is a bad company that treats their customers poorly, obviously has very poor management and I will never purchase from Rural King again. Additional I will make it a point to post this on every review forum and share my experience with everyone I know. Not that is matters because I have no doubt this company will be bankrupt in no time!

Rural King website and online ordering outdated

Bought a crossbow at the year end on clearance. My order sat for over a week with no updates. I put in a request and they said to just wait longer. So, I finally call and they say that it's hung up in processing and they need info. I provided the info and everything was supposed to be good. Then they cancelled my order because it was out of stock. YES, AFTER 2+ WEEKS IT MIGHT HAVE BEEN. Extremely outdated infrastructure for online purchases. NEVER AGAIN!

I had to put one star not by choice.i bought a pair of Justin boots 5 days ago and the whole bottom com off.i had the receipt and the manager Laura rude as hacked asked if I had the box which I didnt.she move the boots when they were on the counter the boot made a slight bang on the counter her fault.she raised her voice and said I need to stop slamming stuff.the walked off.she had no right to raise her voice over something like that.even the cashier that gave me my refund heard it.a manager like that belongs in the back room away from people.ill drive to Peru so I don't have to ever see her rude ass..needless to say I would buy anything from there again.....

Wrist customer service ever

I ordered boots on Oct 7 and as of nov 7 I still have not received them. They are rude when I call, they lie about it being a manufacturing problem when in reality they just don’t have them!!!! Every time I call it’s a different story. They never follow through either promises. I called today to have the order cancelled finally and they refused to do that! No excuse for a company to be run so poorly. They don’t deserve to be in business!
