Pick a different host for the sake of your sanity
Hosted with them for the first time just to have my money yanked with no explanation and my server status canceled as I was asleep. Do not trust this hosting company with your money, and definitely don't trust on their automated customer service because even that doesn't respond. The Freshdesk help? Yeah, that's the Rusting.io's lazy way of saying, "we don't really want to help people, just want the money." Did some researching and it's a company that provides cloud based automated customer service to take care of "repetitive work" i.e. the countless support tickets they probably get because they can't keep up with anything. Also, their site claims that they won't shut your server off until the end of the billing period but they went against that too.
Just in case anyone is in the same boat I was previously in, I logged in to my Rusting Panel to see my invoice was marked "Unpaid" understandably, I thought there was some sort of delay going on that day and gave it a couple days. Couple days pass and it's still marked Unpaid. So I searched and searched for their sh--ty hidden automated email, and sent them at least THREE separate emails trying to get them to explain the situation, if my account was locked or something, literally trying to get an answer. Absolutely nothing. This is what, a week later and still nothing? I hopped onto my panel today to make sure everything was off of it that needed to be off of it, and come to notice, they f-ing canceled my server BEFORE the end of the billing date. Literally yanked money without an explanation. I was fine paying for the server, but not if they're going to s--t all over their customers with this troll behavior. DO NOT Trust Rusting.io.
If you're looking for good customer support go to Pingperfect or Gameserverkings. Customer support is essential because having your host communicate to you any and all issues related to your server is absolutely vital. Rusting.io doesn't think so.
Update: Still haven't heard from them and they've completely deleted my server. My billing date was supposed to be up until 2/27 (Current 2/9). Absolute BS.
