Best wallet I’ve ever used! No complexity, no worrying about it every time I log in. Truely a superior product to Ledger or Trezor.

Trailblazing and great people to work with. The ryder approach to crypto solves a lot of issues i had, especially as a touring musician, the risk of loss/theft is big, ryder helps me navigate this.
I own a lot of crypto wallets but this one is future proof!
Hardware wallet with
I have known the team that build (and is building) this for years. Dedicated, trustworthy and reliable. This hardware wallet makes it easy to safely recover a secret key.
It supports Bitcoin, Stacks and other networks. It has a very user friendly interface, I like how they use light to indicate what is going on but the display is also good at showing details for verification.
What I like the most is that it doesn't force you into the cloud for recovery. You can choose how many recovery pieces you make and how many are needed of the total to recover the key. It can be shared with social contacts but you can also use recovery tags instead or in addition.
Smooth onboarding
Smooth onboarding. Especially on mobile much better than what I used before. Happy so far
One of the best new crypto wallets out there
I backed the Ryder wallet during its Kickstarter launch because I was looking for a more practical and user-friendly cold storage solution for my cryptocurrency holdings. Over the years, I’ve used several hardware wallets, including Ledger and Trezor. While both have strong reputations and long track records in the industry, I have always found them somewhat clunky and unintuitive from a usability perspective.
I have also experimented with various air-gapped and app-connected wallets that keep private keys completely isolated from online devices, similar in concept to Tangem. Although these solutions improve security, many still suffer from a difficult user experience — not just for beginners, but even for someone who has been actively involved in crypto for many years.
What attracted me to Ryder was its simpler and more modern approach. The wallet pairs with a smartphone via NFC, and firmware updates are handled directly through the mobile app. The device itself acts as the private key, while an additional backup tag securely stores the same credentials. This means that even if the main device loses power, access to the wallet can still be recovered through the backup tag.
Another strong point is the development team’s responsiveness. They are active on Discord and consistently engage with users, addressing feedback, suggestions, and technical issues quickly. Since launch, support for additional cryptocurrencies has steadily expanded, evolving from an initial focus on a single asset (STX) to a much broader ecosystem.
Although the device requires occasional charging, battery life has been excellent in my experience, and charging is straightforward via either Qi wireless charging or USB-C. Given that other major hardware wallets also require periodic charging or connectivity management, I do not see this as a drawback.
Overall, I would recommend taking a serious look at Ryder if you are searching for a cold wallet that prioritises ease of use while still offering responsive support and a modern security model.
Ryder One is the perfect hardware…
Ryder One is the perfect hardware wallet around.
Sacure with a recovery tag that adds that extra wallet recovery layer, and a very cool design 😎 .
I also had an easy time setting my Ryder One up.
The Ryder One is best suited for…
The Ryder One is best suited for everyday crypto users who prioritize ease of use, modern design, and simplified recovery over the maximum air-gapped security preferred by advanced security professionals. It effectively solves the "seed phrase problem" for the mass market but requires trusting the mobile app ecosystem for daily operations.
Pros:
Seedless Security uses a certified secure element chip and cryptographic binding to tie the device to your identity, removing the anxiety of lost or stolen paper seed phrases. Setup and transaction signing are intuitive and fast.
With multiple recovery layers including physical recovery tags and a social recovery circle of trusted contacts, it ensures assets remain accessible even if the device is lost. Fully offline, portless, and battery-free.. activates via NFC tap.
Cons:
Lacks USB, Bluetooth, or Wi-Fi, it relies entirely on a smartphone app for operation and cannot connect directly to computers. Not for Deep Cold Storage due to its reliance on the mobile app for transaction initiation, it is less suitable for long-term, air-gapped cold storage.

Stylish hardware wallet with an easy setup
I really like Ryder One as a hardware wallet. The device looks stylish and premium, and the setup feels simple and straightforward. I also like the TapSafe Recovery system with Recovery Tags — it feels much easier and more practical than writing down a seed phrase on paper. The wallet is easy to use, everything feels smooth, and overall I’ve had a very positive experience with it so far.

It’s been a few weeks that I use my Ryder and I must say it is the easiest setup I’ve ever had with a hardware wallet. It literally took me less than 2 minutes. And signing transactions is so cool with this light animation.
