I have been trying to contact Ryka and…NO RESPONSE!!!!!
I have been trying to contact Ryka and they are ignoring my emails. I ordered trainers to the UK. They arrived the wrong size and they are flimsy and not fit for purpose. All I want is my money back but Ryka have completely ignored my emails. If you live in the UK do not buy from them as if you need to return it is not easy. Meanwhile I’m still waiting 😡😡
ball-of-foot less than 1-mo.
ball-of-foot pad pushed down, less than 1-mo-old. Ryka was a dependable name as designed for a guy's mom. Told the clerk I'd be back for a 2nd pair as great "fit". Will not be returning for 2nd pair, and not hopeful that I have a "good fit" substitute in-sole pad.
I have trouble with my feet
I have trouble with my feet, so finding a pair of sneakers is a major project. They are so comfortable, but the soles don't last long. I was on my 4th or 5th pair in 2025
I bought a pair of ryka vibrant bootie
I bought a pair of ryka vibrant bootie. 8.5 wide width. Boots are terrible. So wide on the ankle part. Feel like I'm wearing slippers. So big! Why would you design a shoe like that RYKA?? Horrible!!!
amazing shoes
WORST customer service and quality !!
I purchased these shoes from RYKA that were defective and I emailed them 5 times over a few weeks and they never responded to this day.
Terrible customer service.
First of all I checked out Ryka online to make sure they were a legitimate company and it is. Now I wish I had come to Trust Pilot first to see the reviews before I placed my order. I checked out their site and they seemed to have exactly what I needed. It is painful when I walk and I needed a high arch to get the support I needed.
I ordered the shoes on October 18, 2025. That was a Saturday. The next day I received an email saying that I would receive the shoes on October 21. I didn't receive the shoes that day so I checked the tracking. According to that the shoes were still at the original location. No indication of when they would be shipped and when I would receive them. Next day I got a an email from Ryka saying I would get the shoes on October 23. On that date I checked the tracking and they were still sitting in the original location. I checked the tracking again today October 25 and they're still sitting there with no indication of the actual delivery date. I called Ryka, told the representative my story, she said it takes six business days to receive the shoes. That information is nowhere on their website. She still had no information as to when I would receive the shoes. And instead of counting the six business days from when I placed my order, she said they had to be counted from the day I received my last email from them. I told her I wanted to cancel the order, she said no. I would have to wait till the following Wednesday. I told her that was not acceptable and I wanted to speak to a supervisor. After waiting on hold for a few minutes the same woman came back on the line and told me that the supervisor told her that I had to wait to be able to cancel the order. I never actually got to speak to a supervisor. I told the representative that I would call my credit card company and have them remove the charge for the shoes. (Which Ryka had no problem charging me for the day after I placed my order). Then she said "is there anything else I can help you with?" I said "you haven't helped me so far". And I ended the call. I immediately called my credit card company and they filed a dispute. They said that I had done everything that I could as far as contacting Ryka and I had given Ryka enough time to ship the shoes and that Ryka told me they had no idea when they would ship, and refused to let me cancel the order. After reading all the reviews here I have to agree that their customer service sucks. They are not there to help you, they are there to give you the runaround. I am almost certain that after the issue has been looked into by my credit card company that I will have the charge taken off my bill. Needless to say I will never order from Ryka again.
Wrong size/struggling to return
Wish I'd checked here first, looking for trainers and liked the write ups on Amazon, should have used them instead of going direct. Didn't take too long to arrive but far too small to wear. No response from Ryka and to return I need a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) form/number.
Shoddy quality and returns
I ordered my sneakers on 1/26. They arrived 10 days later after the order was delayed leaving their warehouse. I tested them out at the gym, changing into them once I got there. They seemed fine. Comfortable, good grip, etc. I wore them four other times for cross training at the gym, always changing out of them after the training sessions so they have never touched the outdoors. I noticed this morning that the white tread of the right shoe is lifting off the sole. This is only after 4 non-consecutive hours hours of wearing. Originally, I checked the website and since I am within my return window I decided I would like to exchange them so I could give them another chance. After setting up the exchange, however, I saw that I need the original box and the shoes need to be unworn. Well, not expecting the shoes to fall apart after less than a half dozen wears I threw the box out with the recycling last week. I also learned that because I wore them, but they are defective, that I have to ship them ON MY DIME to the factory so they can be 'assessed' for quality control. This is expected to take 4-6 weeks! In the meantime I will need to go and buy another pair of training shoes while I wait for Ryka to decide if my shoes are worthy of a refund. Had I known that returns would be such a headache I would not have followed the advice of my friend and ordered these shoes. I do not see myself being a repeat customer after this experience.
I bought a pair of Ryka shoes because I…
I bought a pair of Ryka shoes because I thought they were supposed to be great to stand and walk in all day .. these hurt the top of my feet after 2 days .. I had to take my shoe off half way thru the day and walk on the heel of the shoe because the top of my feet hurt so bad . Bottom of feet good , top of feet horrible .. u need to make shoes comfortable all the way around the foot !
So ordered 12 pairs for our disabled…
So ordered 12 pairs for our disabled son and me because someone recommended (life is complicated with his cares and they were on sale). They came and I did not realize you were suppose to try them all out within 30 days or you are stuck. So the second pair I tried since we have indoor shoes and outdoor shoes was defective, but since these were my outside shoes they would not take back. They said you could ship them back at your cost, but no guarantee they will refund. I also realized 2 were the wrong color and because past 30 days to bad. Will only get Kizik's now since they actually have good customer service. It was so obvious from the responses customer service is not a priority. I will make sure to tell the group who recommended them.
I ordered a pair of shoes from the Ryka…
I ordered a pair of shoes from the Ryka Canada website. After a couple of weeks and no shipping confirmation I sent a message through the contact us page and never received a response. I sent another request asking to cancel the order. No response. I received my credit card statement and they charged me for the shoes but I never received them. Do not order from this website.
Deceptive pricing on their website
Deceptive pricing on their website. They will show a price of a shoe and as soon as you select it to put in your cart they immediately increase the price of the shoe..I tried shopping on their site for almost an hour.the prices were constantly increasing after I clicked on the shoe. This is a sleazy business tactic in my opinion. Never purchased with them.it was going to be my first purchase. Back to Amazon for me.
I bought Ryka Hydro Sport shoes
I bought Ryka Hydro Sport shoes. The toe started to peel just after 6 months. Ryka shoes are not a good investment. If they only last a short time, why invest in them? No disclaimer on their website.
No shoes!
Love the shoes! Have probably 20+ pairs of Ryka shoes. But, we ordered over a month ago still No shoes! Where's our shoes Ryka? No Christmas present for my spouse because we haven't received our order!
Buyer beware
Buyer beware! Steer clear of this company! I ordered a pair of boots on November 29th and 6 days later on December 5th, I still hadn’t received a shipment confirmation for my order. The boots were a gift for my daughter who was coming to visit me from Canada. I emailed them December 5th asking for them to cancel the order and refund me, since the boots wouldn’t arrive on time for her visit and birthday (since they hadn’t even shipped yet). I received an automated message that customer service would get back to me within 1-3 days!! Well, noone got back to me at all, and it’s now December 10th and I just received an email that they were finally shipped and out for delivery. When I look at the order, it now says they were a final sale with no returns or refunds, which it didn’t say that when I ordered them!! This company is snakey, and has horrible customer service. Also, to take 12 days to ship an order is outrageous. I haven’t even received the boots yet, but will never buy from this company again. Get it together Ryka!!
I wouldn't have even given this one…
I wouldn't have even given this one star it's not worth it at all! Your customer service is severely lacking in courtesy kindness and resolving an issue. I was sent a return label that I could return my shoes by mail or I believe he said (And I'm not even sure because he did not speak clearly) FedEx was the other option. Of course I opted for the free United postal service return.
So I call to check on the return, which was sent October the 7th, today is October 18th, and he tells me they have not received it yet. And that the refund could take up to 3 to 4 weeks!!!!!!!!!! Excuse me???? At this point I am taking this to the Better Business Bureau. It is totally insane to have to wait a month for a return to be processed! And as far as I am concerned the product is hugely lacking. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT OR THEIR COMPANY.
Shoes fell apart at the sole after 12…
Shoes fell apart at the sole after 12 months. I was advised to return for a refund. They were never worn in rain, or were submerged in water- only worn to gym a few times a week. I paid for shipping to return and was contacted via email and informed that the damage was not considered a manufacturing issue. I spoke to a manager and she told me that she had no authority to change the decision. I will never buy another pair!
Sorry business practices and poor customer service manager!
Purchased 2-shoes in one order, and Rykä submitted and held two charges against my credit card 1) for the items before taxes and charged under their affiliate company-FamousFoot wear 2) full charge for the same items including taxes.
Not sure if Rykä /Famous Footwear does this to pretend they are selling more than reality? But it is a horrible practice of drawing down against a customer’s credit limit (over extending charges twice, which is not necessary)! Furthermore, when I called the customer service desk at 1 (888) 295-8864, the representative could not explain WHY this happened…, so 20-minutes later the ‘so called customer service manager’, named Wendell, got on the phone and he proceeded to raise his voice and continuously cut me off when I tried explaining my concern.
Why would any company want to have Wendell as a customer service manager that yells and argues with customers!!??
Despicably poor customer service that reflects horribly on Rykä/FamousFoot wear company, which is just as bad as double charging for the same order!!! If it was possible to rate “0” stars, that would more appropriately reflect this awful experience!
The soles tore away from the shoe…
The soles tore away from the shoe within the first month of "normal" wear. Customer service was also so terrible that I ended up having to keep them until I could afford to buy a new athletic shoe of a different brand. Will never buy Ryka again which is too bad as it is a comfortable shoe otherwise.
