Nothing was too much trouble!

I visited the Richmond (Surrey) shop this week, having been told at my local shops that they couldn't help. But Ryman's could!
My request wasn't 'usual' but I had obtained the necessary paper myself - so it was just a matter of being willing to listen and go to a bit of trouble to help. I first met Dan who immediately said, 'no problem' adjusted his machine and printed my photos onto A6 parchment paper. It took time but he said 'Don't worry - you're my customer' which made me feel very comfortable.
The following day, I returned with a few more photos and was greeted by Rais with the same friendly 'can-do' approach. I was again made to feel that time and trouble were not an issue and that I was a valued customer. I am so grateful for their cheerful and reliable help which enabled me to create a wonderful, personalised present for my daughter. I highly recommend Ryman's in Richmond for great service with a smile!

Went to collect print job

Went to collect print job, no “hello”, no “please”, no “thank you” and no smile. Two members of staff, miserable as sin and I told them so. I don’t expect red carpet treatment but Jesus! Competition on the high street is fierce - make an effort. Not the first time I’ve been in Brighton store and the service is poor but this time I had to say something as it was blatant. Poor or non-existent training I assume. I’ve worked in retail and I know it’s hard but customers are your life blood.

Upset

Item supplied was not fit for purpose and refused to replace the part that was defected or offer any other resolution as 30 days had past, thus meaning I spent £170 on a pergola which I can not use.

DELIVERY NOISE TO WAKE THE DEAD!

If you lived within 100 yards or worse still closer to a Rymans, you would be very tempted to add more percentage to the appalling 47% of one star reviews they show on Trust Pilot for the appalling totally unnecessary unneighbourly NOISE of their twice weekly nightly 45 minute deliveries which would wake the dead, as indeed would their charging £7.99 for a ream of printing paper when you can buy 5 reams for £16 on Amazon - no amount of complaints about the noise of their nightly deliveries nor indeed requests for some neighbourly consideration results in any such niceties! So onwards and upwards to 50% one star reviews - disgusted of SW3 4TR…!

I've been using Rymans for decades. I won't use them ever again.

I've been using Rymans for decades, mainly for notebooks, which I use a lot of. I needed more so went to Rymans online as usual and was delighted that my usual notebooks were two for one, a deal that Rymans have done for a very long time and is how I usually buy them from them. I ordered two on buy one get one free but only recieved two in total, the expected "free" notebooks were absent, so I promptly contacted customer services to highlight the error.
The agents were accusatory and rude.

They asked me to send screenshots of the Rymans website, from the time I ordered, of the deal I ordered on, as if that is expected practice of customers buying from Rymans.

It is not my expectation as a customer to have to amass evidence whenever I make a purchase to ensure the retailer honours the terms I ordered under, I perhaps foolishly expect the retailer to simply honour the terms and to be aware of where and when their own offers change on their own websites.

I then asked to speak to a manager and was told one would contact me within 24 hrs. They did not contact me.

So I contacted them again and was dismissed again in the same rude and accusatory manner.
I am not the sort of person to complain ordinarily or to waste my time chasing to get something I don't have every reason to expect.

I ordered in good faith and queried in good faith when my order was not as expected and was treated like a criminal needing to prove my innocence in court.

So, if you are going to use Rymans make sure you gather plenty of photographic evidence from their website of any offers you take up with them at the time of purchase because that's what is expected if you want to actually recieve as ordered. Apparently this is normal.

I am returning the notebooks and will never use Rymans again.

Customer Service Praise for Rachel at Ryman

I recently visited the Ryman store in Bromsgrove and had the pleasure of receiving exceptional customer service from Rachel. She was incredibly patient, understanding, professional, and friendly throughout my visit. On a previous occasion, she took the time to explain all the benefits of the Ryman Card, which I’ve since been enjoying.

Yesterday, I needed to use the printing service, and despite arriving after 5:00 PM and facing some technical issues with my documents, Rachel remained calm, focused, and determined to help me resolve the problem. Her dedication and willingness to go above and beyond truly made a difference. At no point did I feel like a burden, and her positive attitude and professionalism stood out remarkably.

Rachel is undoubtedly a shining example of excellent customer service and is a true asset to the Ryman community. Her kindness and expertise made a stressful situation much easier, and I am grateful for her help.

Thank you, Rachel, for your outstanding service and for making my experience so positive!

items arrived broken, no protection, arrived in a bag !!

Hello, I ordered three storage boxes, arrived this morning. All three broken. Its no surprise, they arrived in a clear plastic bag ! no protection what so ever. To make things worse, chat automated service seem to suggest it will take 3 days for them to get back to me !! Just want these collected or throw in the bin and a them send me 3 boxes carefully packaged and not broken !

Scammers! Took My Money, No Item, No Refund

Ryman is an absolute nightmare to deal with. Avoid them at all costs.

I placed an order 11 of January and it was delivered 19 days later witout any notification and to the wrong address!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had to chase customer service myself just to find out where my package was. I have never agreed for my parcel to be delivered to a neighbour in the first place!!! They just leave the parcel wherever without taking any responsability if the parcel goes missing.

After searching everywhere and speaking to my actual neighbors, it was clear that nobody had my package. Yet Ryman refuses to take any responsibility. They took my money but failed to deliver my order to me, and now they are refusing to issue a refund. Their customer service is a joke! Slow, dismissive, and completely unhelpful.

It has now been three months, and I am still waiting for them to fix this. They have my money, I have no item, and they do not care. Instead of doing the right thing, they keep making excuses. This is blatant THEFT.

Do not trust this company. If anything goes wrong with your order, expect to be ignored and left without your money or your item. Absolutely disgraceful service.

So grateful and pleased with both gentlemen who are providing printing services at Ryman in Yate. They were very helpful, professional and patient while helping me to print some personalized cards.!!! Much appreciated 🙏👏☺️

Great product, care for the customer

I have always found Ryman's to have great product ranges. I would particularly point out a recent interaction I had with Ronal in customer services. It was truly refreshing to speak with someone (in person!) who was so dedicated to resolving my issue. Ronal's professionalism and commitment to providing excellent service really stood out to me, and I am very happy with the outcome. Thank you for my positive experience.

Rymans Chorley

Rymans Chorley. Massive shout out to Shaun who was super helpful.

I rang up about a parcel that I was struggling to return through Post NL. I had tried everywhere. Shaun told me about the DHL parcels and exactly what I needed to return my parcel (after I had gone round in circles for 2 days previously). Shaun worked it all out for me and sorted the parcel.

Ordered a pool table which arrived…

Ordered a pool table which arrived damaged, pictures sent December and also had to send them to global opportunities who apparently are the stockist !! Was told it would be collected, now the last email from Ryman is saying because I had it delivered to my work address and it was transported home as it was a Christmas present I have made the damage, not them sending faulty goods! I have now sent pictures of the packaging as the item was boxed straightaway, no damage to packaging at all , the item is sitting in my narrow hallway awaiting collection which I was told would happen but no!!!
It is in a huge box causing obstruction
I have not had any correspondence from either Ryman or global opportunities, no reply’s to my emails, so I will be going to trading standards regarding this, as it is absolutely disgusting customer service

Ordered some 'really useful boxes' on…

Ordered some 'really useful boxes' on sale price from Ryman.
A couple turned up damaged in transit.
The problem was swiftly and politely resolved by Ryman. It's nice not having to jump through hoops to sort out a problem.
