Great for flower beds
I bought the 18" pole hedge trimmer and the shear/shrubbery kit. I haven't tried them on the shrubs yet but they made short work of clearing out my flower beds. Usually it would take both of us all day, took me an hour.
Very weak if any suction so disappointed as people say its good
Brought the cordless ryobi and I wish I never as its got very poor suction my shark is a million times better but I got confused a lil as the revies say how good it is but im a family of 3 young children so need a good suction hoover to go round after my 1 year old lol but im having issues getting the ryobi to suck up little bits of a had floor in my kitchen and compared to my shark on the carpet its no good either as the shark makes carpet look new and this one you cant tell its been hoovered not sure if ive a faulty one but im only reviewing the issues I find with it so I wouldn't recommend this cordless hoover
extension de garantie impossible
après réception du produit (conforme) impossible de l'enregistrer pour avoir l'extension de garantie 3 ans
Avoid snowblower at all costs. Waste of money.
Bought a new snowblower for $2,000 so I didn’t have to shovel this winter. Battery failed after 4 weeks and then had to have it sent to Ryobin for replacement because it Turns out that it’s impossible to just get a replacement battery. Been waiting over a month so far and still no replacement. Continue to shovel all winter even though I bought an expensive Ryobi snowblower. I would strongly recommend anything but Ryobi.
snow blower batteries
snow blower is far the worst product of any brand I ever owned. After 25 minutes of use the batteries overheat and need to be recharged. The charging process takes over 2.5 hours as the charger has a safety feature which will not allow the battery to be charged until it cools down which is a good thing for safety but the batteries are undersized which makes them overheat. I have a lot of knowledge on this subject as I have been an electrician for about 50 years. I am fully aware that the product is not as power as a gas snowblower.
Ryobi 40V push mower is a Lemon
I have owned a 40V push mower since June 2024 and it has broken down twice for the same problem. The Motor Control Board fails. The first time it failed was after about 3 months of use. The 1 local Authorized Service Center was able to repair it after about a month. The second failure was in September 2025, again after about 4 months of use. This time the same Service Center has had the mower for 5 Months. The Ryobi part is not in stock. Most likely because it fails so often. My biggest concern is that since this mower was manufactured in 2024, it may not be supported as long as my 5 year warranty lasts. Looking at the Ryobi Parts Store in January, I saw there is a new part number for this component, so I called the Service Center and asked if they could request the newer part. They said they only get what Ryobi sends them. Checking today I see it is also out of stock. My only hope is the part arrives by the time the grass starts growing again.
Ryobi worst company
Ryobi worst company

They want me to find a long box and mail it back takes 2 weeks ha ha
Or drive 107 miles to ONLY repair station
I live in Miami
Your telling me no repair station in Miami

Do not buy Ryobi
Customer service is crude rude and don’t care that within 6 months the tool breaks
Ryobi is junk
My son got me the weed eater as a gift…
My son got me the weed eater as a gift battery combo from Home Depot this Christmas. I went to put the weed eater together and the screws for the grass deflector were missing from the box. Contacted ryobi only to be told to send them a copy of the receipt. I told them it was a gift and they offered no help only to be told again to send a copy of the receipt. Poor company if there is a problem you will just get the run around from customer support. I have over 15 emails and every email you get you get a new support person that never solves the problem! They don’t honor their warranty! All lies! You will get one email a day for over two weeks trying to get you to give up! They don’t stand behind their products! Just a poor company with cheap tools! Never again will I buy any of their products! They make you feel like you’re trying to cheat them out of 4 screws what a sad and poor company!
Some great cordless tools, but the mower is disappointing
We use several Ryobi 40V tools in our home, including the electric lawn mower, leaf blower, and weed trimmer. The blower and trimmer have been great — they’re easy to use, have plenty of power for normal yard work, and are convenient compared to gas tools.
The lawn mower, however, has been a letdown. It struggles more than expected and doesn’t handle thicker grass very well, which means it takes more passes and more time to get the job done.
Overall Ryobi has some really good cordless tools, but the mower hasn’t lived up to the same standard as the rest of the lineup.
Ryobi table top drill press.
I received a Ryobi table top drill press for Christmas. Assembly was quick and easy, size is just right. I look forward to many years of good use of this piece of equipment.

Ryobi will not honour my Stick Vacuum warranty…
Ryobi honoured my Stick Vacuum warranty claim and promised me that a new vacuum was shipped on August 29/25. Many emails back and forth "Where is it??) and on December 18/25 Ryobi admitted it was not shipped and I must "Be patient your order is in cue"
Four months, no vacuum, our house is full of dust.
Battery was on charger and overheated
Battery was on charger and overheated. Battery casing started to melt, but luckily I discovered it before it caught fire. Ryobi refuses to replace charger and battery because I can't produce my receipt,,, treating it as a warranty issue. It's a safety issue. Had I not checked it when I did, it may well have burned my house down. Very disappointed they are not backing their product. I will be replacing all my Ryobi tools with Milwaukee or Dewalt products.
3 year warranty set up
I've been trying to register the extended 3 year warranty for some tools I've purchased. It is impossible to get through the process without a charger ref. But the tool comes without charger and states 3 year warranty. I have tried to contact Ryobi but so far I've not been able to gain any replies.

Ryiobi tools are poor quality and american, enough said
different brands of battery Powered tools
I used different brands of battery operated tools in the past They break down fast repairs are hard to get I switched to Ryobi and I've not had one breakdown since batteries hold the charge tools work great I keep increasing how many tools I have I would recommend Ryobi tools to all my friends.
I purchased a Ryobi self propelled…
I purchased a Ryobi self propelled mower at Home Depot. In less than 3 years both batteries expired, had 2 transmissions replaced and a control panel replaced. yes the warranty covered the parts and batteries but really, lifespan is less than 3 years. I had a Toro self propelled before this for 27 years with no issues....I have buyers remorse given the poor quality of this tool. Ryobi thanked me for the business and reminded me I am covered for further repairs for 2 years. THAT'S NICE TO KNOW...MORE INCONVENIENCE COMING.
In general everything was great
In general everything was great. The problem I have with Ryobi is trying to find model and serail numbers. NOt sure why they can't do like most companies call the numbers what they are.
Just a warning about Ryobi
Just a warning. I purchased a ratchet from Ryobi direct. It’s packed up after a few months use. Contacted Ryobi and they say because I work in the car trade it’s not covered under the warranty as it just for diy.
I can’t understand why anyone would pay £150 for a tool to use on odd occasions when you can only use it on vehicles. I think it’s a cop-out.
I am disgusted and feel severely cheated so if anyone as the bright idea to purchase a Ryobi . I would think again.🤬
The customer support is the worst I…
The customer support is the worst I have ever had, I had a impack gun for just over a month and I am have a problem sending it back. I will never have another ryobi tool.
