Perfect christmas present

The saber came to us in mint condition. Well packed, protected, not even a slightest punch on the box. (My compliments to FedEx.) It is working just as my son hoped it will and been working since. We havent had any problems on customs procedure, exept of one day delay. And it was our customs to hold things back, the saber company had nothing to do with that. It came day before christmas and it was THE perfect gift ever.

Amazing after sales experience

A bought two light sabers just before Christmas and had them delivered on time during what must have been a very busy period for the company.

It goes without saying that the light sabers were of excellent quality but what struck me the most was the after sales care and attention to detail.

Great Company

Absolutely horrible. Not only did I wait 3 months, but after switching my order to something that was actually in stock, the audio just stopped working.
However, their support is great, and they are currently trying to help me out.

That was my original experience. Shortly after, I got support from their super wonderful team, who was able to help fix the issue. Thanks a lot!

Even after what I've experienced, I still recommend buying from this company.

Alleviated skepticism

I was skeptical at first from seeing how the prices of this company seemed to be suspiciously lower than many of the other leaders in the saber community. But thankfully I decided to take the risk and was very pleased with the quality and detail of the delivered product!

There was a lot of conflicting…

There was a lot of conflicting information between what it says on the website, and what customer service told me. The website said that my order would be shipped within 2 days, and provided an expected day of delivery. However, after a week with no updates, I reached out to customer service to check on my order. Customer service told me that their standard shipping time is 7-10 days, not the 2 days that their website said. In the end, my package didn't end up shipping until days after the website had said that I would have received my order.

Additionally, before placing my order, I had asked customer service to confirm what currency the prices on the website were displayed in. They told me that the prices updated based on your region, and would be displayed in your local currency. My local currency is CAD. When I went to checkout for my purchase, I learned that the prices didn't update based on your region like customer service had said, and were in fact displaying in USD.

Despite the issues with conflicting information, customer service was fast, courteous, professional, and ready to help you to the best of their ability. Additionally, the product quality is really good, and I'm happy with my sabers.

After factoring in all these positives and negatives, I think that Saber Theory ( The Saber Company ) deserves a 3/5 stars. There definitely not the best, and there is certainly room for improvement. But they're also not the worst, and despite the issues I ran into, I can't call them bad. Overall, I think they earned their neutral 3/5 stars overall.

English review here, a good site

Hello, I keep getting requests to review on the Dutch site. Since I don’t know Dutch, I will review in English and you can translate it if you like. I have purchased numerous times from the Saber Company (formerly Saber Theory). Their products have been great quality and the customer service has always been very good. The variety of hilts is excellent so you have lots of options, including the popular movie models. If you are concerned about the cost, my experience is that all you need to do is be patient and wait for the regular promotions that come up. Just keep an eye on the site (sign up for notifications on sales promotions). I know some of the other sites have hilt models that aren’t available at The Saber Company, but I find the costs are often so much higher, even for identical models at regular prices. Look around and you can make your own decision.
