Fantastic experience all round

I bought a 1200ml double walled stainless steel teapot earlier this year. The lid of the teapot became so hot when making tea, it was impossible to remove the lid to remove teabags/infuser without burning ones fingers. The knob on the lid is solid stainless steel which conducts heat away from the teapot contents and becomes extremely hot.
I contacted Sabichi and suggested there is a design fault with the lid. They suggested I used oven gloves to remove the lid! Ha-Ha!
I have since crafted and fixed a wooden knob for the lid which has solved the problem. Be warned, the lid gets VERY hot.
The rest of the teapot works well though. It pours well and keeps the tea hot.

Needed to replace 8 year old toaster, of different brand. Am delighted with this Starbeck model. Wider slots, clearer controls and clean attractive appearance.

Sabichi as owner of Pifco & Haden brands are not good.
Purchased a Bagless cylinder vacuum direct via eBay site of Pifco.
Delivery via DPD awful, it was dumped at another address not even same Road as me. Luckily the honest elderly resident saw it and walked it round. Contacted DPD, not really bothered and told me to complain to Sabichi group who hold a DPD business account.
Sabichi group contacted (same address/ phone number as pifco). Apologised for incorrect delivery and advised I can return item if I want!
So the item-- well differs completely from item pictured and advertised both on Pifco eBay site and Pifco Direct websites. Different colour, different design especially of vacuum main cylinder and dust capacity of item received is less than advertised. Sabichi excuse, we are in process of updating adverts ( well your adverts still show different design to what I received). But they say I received a new 2025 model of same vacuum. I think not my vacuum clearly has date manufactured of January 2024 on it !? I ask why etc etc to be given a reply of send it back if I don't want it or are unhappy. Wow nice offer and service- oh at my expense of postage as it's not faulty! So they sent different item, have incorrect adverts and specification give false year of manufacture info and I as the disappointed customer must pay!!I
The item looks and feels cheap, doubt it will last long and is very noisy.
Would never recommend Sabichi group,Avoid I suggest, or check carefully that what you will receive is as advertised.
Pifco on trustpilot 77% Bad 1 star reviews, says it all about the Sabichi group, wish I had checked first.

Had a fault with a Haden toaster that was just 12months old so contacted them about it. Was told by a member of staff to send a few details and they would look into it. They then sent a returns label for me to return the toaster. Delighted to say I have today just had brand new replacement toaster delivered. Would like to say well done to Sabitchi homewares for the speed a courtouse way in which they dealt with My request. Took just a week to resolve.
