A not-so-sacred connection
This review covers a near three month period, and a single $460,- purchase. The bottom line is that dealing with Sacred Connection put my equanimity to the test. As I am based in Europe, I wanted to have the hapé freight forwarded. This turned out impossible, as tobacco products cannot legally be exported. With the exception of one short reply, Sacred Connection left unanswered 6 polite e-mails, sent over a two month period from 2 mailaccounts, asking for a return number and label. They also did not answer my phone calls. Days before the hapé would be destroyed by the freight forwarder, I managed to obtain a label through an American friend, who go through to them via whatsapp. I do not (want to) use whatsapp, but saw no alternative to installing it on a separate phone, in order to get the actual refund after the package was returned. The help in the end (through whatsapp) was friendly. Also, their hapé, which I later purchased through a Dutch supplier, is of good quality. So I’ve added a star for that, in all fairness.
