I found this business was totally…
I found this business was totally lacking in empathy and compassion. After my relative had passed away, I found her funeral plan and rang safe hands, but as she was at the funeral directors, that she had requested, but they didn't deal with, I was told that I either had to move her to one that they dealt with or cancel the plan. As my relative had taken out the plan to make things easier at her death, I found this very distressing and left her where she had requested. Written on the front of the plan it said a preferred funeral director of your choice, but at the back, in small letters, it said to contact safe hands before the funeral director. Who looks at small print at such an emotional time? I was repeatedly told that this was a business and that they had to make money. Is this how anyone dealing with the death of a close relative should be treated?

Is this value for money or scandalous?
My Mother had taken a funeral plan with safe hands. The plan is a 10year plan. Only five years have been paid a total of £1598 paid I then have to pay £1145 to settle the plan a total of £2743 paid.
The plan will then pay the undertaker £1665!! Safe hands profit £1078 for the plan to run less 5 years
One day offered to settle the balance.
My review is fact so people can form they’re own opinion.

Below shows the attention to detail as the funeral has already been. But they won’t pay out until I settle with them. I will pay the funeral myself before I give them another penny .The positive reviews are of people who haven’t yet claimed.
If you fail to pay the plan they would put a funeral on hold as stated below. Compassion they are definitely short of.
