I had a quick deadline and Safe Life was able to expedite my order. The department I work for allows us to purchase our own armor, and multiple of my co-works are now buying a vest similar to the one I purchased. It looks very professional, is good quality and has an excellent safety rating.

The belt is exactly as it was…
The belt is exactly as it was advertised, rigid and supports all my gear. It was a little hard figuring out the exact length to put my belt at, but after figuring it out this belt has been the best belt I’ve owned. The front belt clip does stick out a bit but I’m guessing the more I wear in the belt the more it’ll snug in. For now I just use a belt keeper at the front. Other than that this belt is great. Would definitely recommend getting this belt. I’m a size 30 waist and I got the medium fits as it says it does.

When ordering my body armor
When ordering my body armor, the build it yourself tool was great. You were able to see exactly what you are getting instead of a generic order for what you are buying. The product I received is light and easy to wear and for hours and is very good quality. I also liked that you could select side armor, which a lot of vests do not have.

First time ordering body armor
First time ordering body armor and I needed a Vest I could trust! My friend recommended Safe Life Defense and the company I am working for also suggested them. I am so pleased that I listened to their advice because the vest is comfortable easy to adjust and not overwhelmingly heavy. I highly recommend getting body armor through Safe Life Defense.

Poor communication and customer service so far
Took almost the full two weeks to ship after order when it was labeled ready to ship for my specific item. Then when a return was sent and delivered it has been 11 days with no communication. Now I’m out of money and a belt. I don’t know if I’m getting a return or my belt back. An email was sent requesting information on my return with no reply. Not impressed with customer service at this point. Belt was decent just not what I was expecting in material. Was planning on going with nylon standard belt, but deciding if I need to go with another company. Haven’t heard nothing but good things, but my experience has not went well so far.
