False advertising/misleading sales tactics

Bought a case with 6 'Turbo' fans as they looked good in the pictures. I was advised to buy an extra 3 fans at £8 each as I would need 3 extras for the top of the case. System arrived, installed the fans and turned the PC on. What a shocker that was! These £8 fans looked nothing like the fake pictures on their store. These looked more like they were bought for 50p each from a bargain bin in a pound shop or something. Shame I can't post pictures here but trust me, they look absolutely awful.

Asked politely if it would be possible to exchange them for nicer looking ones and sent photo's showing the obvious differences between the fake advertisement images and the actual fans I received. I was actually really impressed with the response and was immediately sent the 'Duo' fans I asked for as replacements.

Fans arrived and there was only 6 in the box. Let them know I would need another 3 as I bought 9 from them in total and this is the response I got - 'Omg….we will send another 3 ….'

I then responded with another option of just being refunded for the 3 extra fans instead and I would just send all 9 cheap nasty 'Turbo' fans back if that would suit them better and this is the response I got - 'Sure..we will refund you, Keep sending this isn’t cheap…'

So I am misled with false advertising into buying rubbish looking fans with fake pictures. They send me 6 fans as replacements for the 9 that they know I ordered and I get this bad attitude from them too!? Am I supposed to feel bad for them for scamming me and then not sending the right amount of replacement fans?

The refund came through and they couldn't even get that right. I received £20 instead of the £24 I paid so I had to get them to fix that too.

Now I am expected to pay postage costs to send these horrible looking fans back to them that they deceived me into buying in the first place.

I can actually buy 6 of the exact same Sahara fans on Ebay for the same price I bought 3 straight from them anyway.

On a positive note the case is not too bad and the 'Duo' fans are SO much better looking than the other cheap garbage ones.

If only they used actual pictures of the products they are selling instead of photoshopped fakes. Problem is they would not sell the cheap nasty ones then would they. So sick of the dishonest sales tactics companies use these days and I'm pretty sure false advertising was illegal in the UK last time I checked.
