As a new Sakura Co subscriber, I went in skeptical after trying many other Japan-themed snack boxes that often rely on inexpensive, mass-produced treats marketed as premium simply because they’re imported.

Sakura Co feels so much different! Their boxes feature region-exclusive snacks and small-batch, handcrafted items that genuinely carry higher value if purchased individually. The addition of a homeware item that’s actually made in Japan further sets it apart from competitors.

Overall, the selection feels topical, thoughtful, and filled with items you’re unlikely to find elsewhere. I rate it 8/10, deducting points only for a few items arriving slightly damaged (cracker type items so hard to deliver in tact I’m sure!) and the higher price compared to other boxes—neither of which is a deal-breaker!!

I got this as a present for my birthday from my boyfriend after being in Japan together. And it's the best gift he could give me. Now that I'm missing Japan and the Japanese food I still have this package to look forward to every month. It's a very abundant package, I was really surprised by that. Also loved the bonus presents!

Each item is handpicked and matches a different theme. I love the attention to detail, the storytelling, and the wide selection of treats. Having a piece of Japan every month is considered self-care and good for your mental health!

This little box is such a delight. I adore Japan and get so sad when I return home that this keeps me in some way connected. I love the beautiful gifts, the delightful teas and delicious snacks. I also appreciate how they are sourced.

Everything looks delicious and is in perfect shape. It's perfect. Unfortunately, I had to give it a 4 stars because it's missing the nutritional information sheet. As someone with food allergies, that paper is pretty important. Yes they have the book, but the book doesn't give the necessary information for the rarer allergies

This was my first order for a 3 month supply. The first box was tasty, and the added on tea was worth the price. I watch my favorite youtubers who love in japan, while eating and drinking tea.

Had to pay more in toll than expected, but that isnt sakuracos fault, but still messed with the overall experience. The toll took a while, but once i got the package it was cute. I got a cool little cloth for my lunch box and lots of lovely snacks!!

I have for such a long time really wanted to try the box ! And wow now i am on my second month with the box and i just love everything about it, the products, the design and the all the information for each product 🥰 it really is just a moment of happiness to open each box ❤️
