Salanti is a family business, baking traditional Ossetian pies. Initially founded in Buckinghamshire, the bakery has now moved on and brought the culinary traditions of the highlands of the Caucasus to Central London where we aim to accommodate the tastes of the vast and multicultural communities of the Capital. Our pies are handcrafted with recipes that were carefully preserved and passed from generation to generation: two thin layers of the tender pastry housing a variety of freshly prepared fillings such as cheese, potatoes, cabbage, beef mince, butternut squash, beetroot leaves, sour cherry, and apples! We have also developed variations of our traditional Ossetian recipes to create our own Salanti Specials and to offer vegan-friendly options!

Different and very tasty
Tried these having read about them in a local magazine. We tried the triple combo pie (cheese and potato, cheese and onion and apple) and had a separate cheese pie. The company kindly gave us another pie (cheese and chard) as they asked if they could deliver at a slightly different time. A pie with thin pastry (almost like a pizza base) top and bottom and a thin but very tasty filling. My favourite was the cheese and chard and the kids liked the cheese filling. The yoghurt, garlic and dill sauce that came with the pies was very nice too-very light.
Great to try something different. Very tasty.
