Who Is Salem Restaurant Equipment? The focus of Salem Restaurant Equipment (SRE) is to strive to give the best customer service possible. We warranty everything we sell, new or used. We keep very high standards for all of our equipment. Professionalism is of the highest importance to us. All of our merchandise is of the best quality with brands like Wolf, Garland, Royal Range, Moffat, Southbend, Vulcan Hart, Turbochef, Lincoln, Pitco, Broaster, Alto Shaam, American Dish Service, APW Wyott, Autofry, Baker's Pride, Hobart, and many more. We refurbish older equipment and bring it back to at least excellent condition and warranty every appliance we sell. SRE sells both new and used commercial restaurant equipment, smallwares, parts, and supplies. In addition, we are always looking for equipment to place in our inventory, whether through purchase, trade, or consignment. Salem Restaurant Equipment has served the needs of Oregonian restaurants for the past 13 years. Who Are The Owners? Salem Restaurant Equipment is owned by Dean Stockwell - his wife, Jennifer and his daughter, Amanda. Dean Stockwell has been a business owner and investor for the last 28 years. He has taken his knowledge of commercial Dishmachines and applied his sales and service skills to help SRE become the robust company that it is. Jennifer Stockwell has over 30 years of accounting, finance, and general business experience that she brings to this enterprise. Her knowledge is an integral part of why Salem Restaurant Equipment has been so successful during these past 4 years. “My most rewarding challenge is trying to provide an atmosphere where our employees can achieve maximum success. I enjoy being behind the scenes setting up infrastructure and processes so the company can provide quality service and support for all our stakeholders – customers, vendors, and employees alike. I am so proud that each of our employees is committed to the vision of building lasting relationships one kitchen at a time.” Amanda Stockwell has been with the company since it began. She is knowledgeable in most aspects of the restaurant industry including smallwares, new and used equipment, kitchen design and flow, as well as many aspects of state and local health code regulations. Feel free to ask her any odd ball questions you may have; If she doesn’t know the answer, she knows who does. “I try my best to give my clients all the knowledge needed to make a good and informed decision about each and every piece of equipment they buy. The truth is, not every brand, type, or piece of equipment will work in every application. I do my best to steer my customer to the piece of equipment that will work best in their application while being honest and straight forward about price, quality, and value of each unit.”
