Bait and Switch, save your money. YouTube cheaper and affordable.

Sales gravy is a huge disappointment. They have a low rating for a reason on TrustPilot for a reason. Their platform is full of confusing paywalls that make it nearly impossible to determine, without reading the fine print, what training you have access to and why you need to pay more for better content. They use a low price point to get you into a subscription and paywall off multiple tiers, even after upgrading. It's frankly a used car sales approach. There's no mobile app either, which is unforgivable given how much they charge. Honestly, use YouTube for your sales training. It's cheaper and you have much better access than logging in through a mobile browser and trying to figure out what you do and don't have access to.

I was at a sales conference last week…

I was at a sales conference last week in Nashville with SalesGravy and I was less than impressed by Brad. When I address my prospective clients I learn everything I can about them so I can better address their questions.
Brad knew nothing about what our company does. He had to ask what we did in the middle of his demonstration.
I have trouble talking advice from someone who doesn’t know their own job. It was either arrogance or complacency.

Great Value Sales Training

I was surprised to read poor reviews for Sales Gravy, so I felt obliged to offer another point of view.

I am in the UK and am a solopreneur software engineer. In other words, I have to do all my own sales but have no sales experience.

Sales Gravy offers Workshops (2 hours live training) and Masterclasses (five 2-hour sessions) as well as lots of micro-courses you can take at your own pace.

I have an All Access Pass which allows me to sign up for anything I want. I have made full use of that.

I have found the courses to be educational and very encouraging - you need that in sales! Also, look at the cost of training on-site. It costs big money to attend on-site training, so this has allowed me to tap into the minds of some great sales trainers in a cost-effective and convenient way.

Highly recommended!

Be VERY careful before buying the "all access" pass!

I just spoke with a Sales Rep about my upcoming membership renewal to my "ALL access pass" and was shocked to learn that all the workshops I have attended are saved in my account to be able to be watched and re-watched at my convenience will no longer be available to me should I choose to not renew my membership.

When I asked why that was the case I was told it is "because I have a membership".

On the surface that sounds great but:
-If I took MY time to attend a workshop that I attended, and that I paid for, and it was saved for ME...why is it not MY property to keep after my membership expires or lapses?
-So I posed a question to the customer service rep: if that is the case, then I shouldn’t I be able to view ALL of the past workshops Sales Gravy has put on...because I have a membership?
Well, she said that was not the case; because I did not sign up for those workshops I did not have access to them.

So let me ask a question of all of you: does this sound right?
-If I truly have an "all access pass" membership, why am I restricted to only view workshops I attended?
-And if I agree with their policy, then why do I not get to keep the slides and recordings for all the workshops I DID attend, once my membership expires?

Reply from Sales Gravy

Tim - Thank you. We value your feedback. In reply, it is important to explain that subscriptions to Sales Gravy University work exactly like subscriptions to streaming services like Netflix.

While your subscription is active you have access to all of the shows you are watching, those you have saved on your playlist, and your favorites.

Once you cancel your subscription, you no longer have access to those shows.

You asked why the programs you viewed on Sales Gravy University were not MY property to keep" after your subscription "expires" or "lapses."

This is because with a subscription you are renting the content. You don't own it. This is also true for every subscription based streaming service.

Finally, relative to restrictions for live workshops. All Access Pass members have access to enroll in all live workshops. However, to ensure that we maximize instructor/learner engagement there is a limit on the number of people allowed in each class. Once a class is full enrollment is restricted.

The good news is we conduct multiple workshops each week so there are plenty and many options for attending workshops so there is always an open course.

We are very sorry that you became so upset with us. We hope though that you'll take a moment to consider how streaming services work to better understand our terms of service.

Michael - We admit that we are a bit baffled with your review. We do not provide applicants or resumes. Did you mean to review another website?
