I have ordered from Salimbene several times and service delivery direct from Naples Italy was flawless. Carlo at Salimbene provides fantastic customer service, delivering high quality and freshly roasted beans.
My last order I tried the "Deliziosa" blend which is a bit stronger than the Superbar blend. Deliziosa offers a thick crema that lasts a long time irrespective of the ambient conditions and is very nicely balanced. It is sweet, creamy, and delivers an excellent espresso but also very suitable for milk based espresso beverages. Fantastic! Highly recommended!

I came across the Salimbene Superbar beans on Amazon.com a while back and fell in love with the amazing, complex flavor — heavy on chocolate notes — with a lively crema. To my dismay, Amazon discontnued carrying the beans, and a repeated Google search for alternate purchasing options came up empty. I tried numerous expensive Italian-based, highly-reviewed coffee bean from Amazon and local stores, one after another, in search of my amazing espresso that I’d become partial too. Disappointment after disappointment.....sour, uniform, and weak.

Finally, as a last effort, I e-mailed Salimbene directly with my dilemma. My message was promptly and courteously responded to, and I was given the good news that I could order direct with FedEx shipping. Payment and ordering was easy and seamless, the coffee arrived FRESH! promptly, and well-packed, and I am back to happily sipping my rich, chocolatey, flavorable, creamy espresso:)
