When we hear the word 'salt', we tend to think of the essential ingredient we use in cooking, or the grains we sprinkle over a fried egg to bring out the flavour. But beyond the kitchen, salt is used for a huge number of other essential purposes. Just think of the salt we rely on so heavily in winter to keep roads clear of snow and ice.

Salt Giant opened its doors in 2009, a year when a serious nationwide shortage of road salt opened the door for our business. We stepped in by delivering fast, at a fair and honest price, and quickly secured a firm place in the salt market. Since then, we've built up extensive experience across the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and the UK. Today we're one of the leading road salt suppliers in the UK and are steadily working towards becoming the country's largest salt supplier.
