Ordered 4 hats on November 29th. Still have not received them. I asked for a refund. They said no and they would send out a return label. That i could get a refund after I send the hats back. That was 10 days ago. Still no hats, still no label. And now they aren't answering and emails. I will be filli.g out a new review every day until full refund. Also contacting better business bureau Monday morning. Absolute horrible customer service, horrible business

Black Friday ordered four hats. They never came, so USPS tracking said was in pre shipment never received. I called the company multiple times and no answer with mailbox full. I emailed the company multiple times and they replied stating it was still on its way, but you can see it was not. I asked to resend or refund after getting no where and they ghosted me.

My experience with Salt Mafia has been excellent.

The gear is awesome, I first ordered a 6-curved hat. The flex hats are amazing for Florida heat. The 6-curved has a bit of a low-crown that I am not a fan of how it looks (like a golfer hat), rather than a casual/baseball hat. I also had ordered it as a M/L which was a little tight for my liking. I typically wear fitted 7 3/8 which can also be a bit tight but I think my head size is right in a weird spot where it's hard to get a perfect fit.

The 2nd order I snagged 2 regular curved L/XL and they are perfect crown height but just a tiny bit loose. Still look and feel great, and hoping they might tighten up a little bit over time. I'd prefer loose to tight though as wearing tighter hats for long periods gives me headaches.

The second order (black friday deals, awesome prices!) that I just received I had also decided to try some shorts and glasses, and as expected they are both awesome! They both look and feel great, awesome quality material, super comfortable. Now my favorite shorts, hats and glasses. We'll see how they hold up to time.

I made a 3rd order again on Black Friday deals that is still in the mail and but I picked up a few shirts and a 2nd pair of glasses. Excited to see what the shirts are like, but I'm betting I'll love them.

In terms of customer service, I had 2 issues that were my fault and they were quick to respond and resolve. The 3rd order that I had made I accidentally shipped to an old address, I emailed and they quickly fixed the address and got back to me. The second time I thought I had been over charged but within a minute after sending the email I realized I had accidentally ordered 2 shirts instead of one and replied again that it was my fault and I'd just give the 2nd as a gift, again they were quick to respond and even though there was no real issue at hand. Kind, very down to earth responses.

I see a lot of negative reviews on here that I simply cannot relate with, keep up the good work Salt Mafia and thank you!

Purchased a hat from the Shark Patch Hat Collection. Just love it. Wore it on the fishing boat I go out of in Montauk.
Got so many compliments. Some buddy’s of mine ordered a few different hats already. It’s so convenient to order from SaltMafia. Any questions I have I reach out to their customer service making it so much easier for me.
Also my day was amazing with that new Element Bag they came out with,

I recently ordered a hat and a few new shirts from Salt mafia, and I am seriously impressed. The quality of their hats and shirts is next level, I have been ordering from them for about 3 years now and everything I have bought is still in amazing condition. I love how many color options they offer for each item on the website, their hats hold up great after long days in the sun, shipping was quick and everything arrived exactly as expected! Definitely one of my favorite brands!

What an actual terrible experience I’ve had with Salt Mafia. I was unsure about size and unfortunately guessed wrong. Instead of processing a return in exchange for the bigger size I had to place a new order and then return the first. The new order took much longer to be delivered than the first hat. After I received the larger size I requested a return label for the first hat and they sent it. So far not too bad. Well it took them over a month to issue me a PARTIAL REFUND. Their idiotic excuse is they are refunding me the difference minus shipping except that’s not true and I’m not sure how they do not understand this. The hat was $49 plus shipping and then they tax the total with shipping. Yes they are charging tax on shipping. Somehow their math equates to a $46.71 refund. Thats less than the cost of the hat! Stay away from this shady company.

What is unfortunate is that you are completely incompetent and cannot understand that you have not fully refunded the $49 for the hat I sent back or you are intentionally ripping me off by not providing a full refund for the hat I sent back. I've given you several opportunities to look at the facts and make a correction. You have chosen to instead, rip me off, and lose a customer for life. I hope the $3 was worth it. It doesn't matter what products you have or how good they are if you are blatantly ripping people off.

I’ve been wearing and ordering salt mafia for years now, quality is spot on, shipping and receiving is awesome as well. I will continue to purchase salt mafia!!

Horrible customer service. I received a hat with stain damage and it took multiple follow ups just to get acknowledged and the corresponds was subpar when I actually received a response. Never owed up to the damage and refused to reimburse shipping costs even though its their fault. Took 3 months to actual get a refund. Stay away.

I returned my order. Once the return was sent, the company stopped responding to me completely via email or phone. I never received my refund and had to open a dispute with my bank, which the bank told me they were ‘completely unhelpful’ in the process. Buyer beware, do NOT purchase.

I ordered 2 hats a week ago. Order still not processed. The “25/7” text line doesn’t answer. The phone number goes to voicemail but the mailbox is full. I emailed and got a canned response that they would get back to me soon but no response.

I’ve tried to reach customer service by phone, text and email. No response. I won’t buy from them again.

I have been purchasing salt mafia apparel and gear for years. I have never had any problems with their quality or customer service. A few times I spoke with customer service and could not have been more satisfied with their feedback. I did not have a complaint but had a conversation regarding maintenance of the apparel. Recently attended a fishing expo and spoke with a friendly representative from Salt Mafia at their booth. Extremely impressed with the rep’s knowledge of all their products and was very professional. So happy I found this company as I am outside, usually on my boat, and in the sun throughout the year. The artwork on their shirts and pullovers are so unique and have that custom feel that separate them from others. Finally, the protection from sun is so important these days. Many of their products do a great job limiting the damage from too much sun light. Constantly checking their website for new products and colors and always take advantage of their promotional discounts I receive in my email. Frank D

When looking at this saltmafia website I was so impressed to see such a selection and variety of clothes and hats they have to offer.

I ordered 2 hats and 2 shirts, One each for my husband and his friend who are going on an upcoming fishing trip. I received them in 2 days just as they promised. All the items fit perfect. I bought a hat and a couple shirts for fishing from salt mafia after seeing them on instagram and I’m very happy I did. I wear the hat to work everyday and it still looks as good as the day I bought it since it is so easy to clean and super durable. The shirts fit great and are made with high quality material that keeps you cool out in sun. I will not wear any other hat again!

Hands down the best water gear ive used!!! Grew up in and on the water, sailing, fishing, surfing and the quality of product from clothing to head wear is unmatched!!!
