I want to give a special shout out to Jamie and Laura for their consistent hard work in our irresponsible lending case. The communication was second to none, Jamie in particular was proactive and worked really hard for us. Pushing back and questioning where necessary. Jamie always answered all my questions without query or judgment and was available at all times, working tirelessly in the background. What makes this even better was, our case won and as a result, we received a payout which will help us, as a family, no end.

So quick and efficient

I used Sanderson Drake to represent my mis-sold payday loan claim dating back to 2022. The creditor who mis-sold me the loan initially disputed Sanderson Drake’s findings, and my case was then referred to a Financial Ombudsman Service investigator, who also initially rejected the claim. However, both Sanderson Drake and I disagreed with their assessment.

After a year of back-and-forth, my case was escalated to a Financial Ombudsman case handler for a full review. They reached a different conclusion, and the decision on my case was ultimately overturned. It was important to me to hold the creditor accountable for their irresponsible lending practices, which resulted in a high-cost payday loan I simply could not afford at the time.

I cannot thank Sanderson Drake enough for their professionalism, guidance, and their ability to clearly communicate my concerns to the Finanical Ombudsman. Thanks to their persistence and support, my claim was upheld, and I received the compensation I rightfully deserved.

I highly recommend Sanderson Drake to anyone who believes they may have been mis-sold a high-cost payday loan. Request a free assessment—you never know, you may be eligible for compensation.

Right, they are okay to deal with, however...........
1) Difficult to speak with anyone—one lovely lady who was really good. However, if you try between 12 and 2 pm, lunch from 9 to 10 is not open. Monday, no one is there in the morning. So, not great customer service.
2) While I have no issues paying my fees. I do have an issue paying fees when I do not receive the compensation, i.e. some firms reduce active account overdrafts, etc. It is not clearly stated that they will still take fees even if you do not get the funds directly. A bit cheeky. Some other firms waive this cost if that is the case, they do not.

The team at Sanderson drake have been fantastic. I didn’t really know what to expect as I submitted quite a few different claims. But I had consistent email correspondence and the team were on hand when I called. I’ve been really surprised at the work they do in the background and was overjoyed when they managed to claim over £7000 for me on one claim.

I’ve still got a couple of claims I’m waiting for the banks to get back with and hopefully I’ll be able to get a bit more. It isn’t a quick process but if you are patient and engage with the team it’s well worth the wait.

Of course there are fees for the company but in my eyes i wouldn’t have ever progressed these claims without them so more than happy to pay the fees from my successful claims.

Naomi specifically was very patient in waiting for the many bank statements which spanned over several claims so thank you for wading through all of them.

Too quiet a bit about 18 months but very good service i reseived 6182 back and payed 2063 for service but i had nothing to begin with so great

Another company with no morals. Avoid this company at all costs. Threatening email about a invoice. There certainly not there to help you

The staff are always very helpful and professional. Totally transparent about the process. The only reservations that I have is that sometimes it is difficult to get the phone answered. On at least 3 occasions, when ringing to enquire about the progress of my claim, I gave up after waiting over 30 minutes for a response Also, of their own admission, Halifax were well beyond the expected time frame in dealing with my complaint. I ended up doing all of the chasing myself and eventually got it resolved with a lot of effort. Sanderson Drake did not at any time indicate that they were pursuing the claim,although I am sure that they were,or keep me informed of what they were doing to be proactive at any stage. I still was invoiced for the full fee. I am grateful that they flagged up the irresponsible lending concerned but I feel that I had to do too much myself to pursue it and that I could have done this myself ultimately.

Honestly I was skeptical of going to a no win no fee company to see if I was entitled to anything, but I have to say I'm so glad I did. Sanderson and Drake were very professional, kept me in the loop every step of the way and were able to achieve a good settlement for me. I had a 12 month repayment plan for their fee which was affordable and I couldn't recommend this company enough. Thank you for all your help.

Sanderson Drake helped me to recover just over £7000 from the overdraft interest on my bank account. This was a lot more than I was expecting. They kept me informed every step of the way and the staff are super helpful. The invoice payable to them after my refund was received was just over £2300 which I felt was quite a large percentage , however they still managed to retrieve the money I wasn’t expecting so I was very pleased with the outcome and would use again.

Honest review - Sanderson Drake just won me their biggest pay out case (or so I was told). It was most definitely a long process, from start to finish just under 2 years. At some point the constant request for additional information i thought was painful but I persevered because why not. At one point the lender rejected one of the claims but here is where i was really impressed. My case worker Jamie did his own due diligence and even challenged the Ombudsman and refused to let it go, producing his own challenge and because of this, my case was escalated to someone even higher up and ultimately both cases were won. That would not have happened if he did not perserver the way he did and I give huge credit to him. My advice is be open to providing all information they ask however tedious it can get because it all matters in the end. I was more than happy to pay the fee in the end as it was well deserved. I was informed every step of my case. The communication was really good and I got the money I didn’t expect. So I would recommend Sanderson Drake.

I did a lot of research before choosing the company to use, read all reviews to get a feel. I think in total submitted about 8 accounts and won 5, I did try a couple myself one I won and the other I didn’t, fees are high but not sure would get the same result if I did myself. Whole process from start to finish and I was quick with replying and getting info across was around 6 months, some were done and dusted in 3 months, had a couple of cash rewards and a couple of substantial reduction in balances, the reduction in balances you are able to set up a payment plan over 3-12 months. Also found them easy to deal typically always someone on the end of the phone and they were flexible when owed them through cash reward. Overall if looking to get a refund and dont want to be consuming loads of time I would defo use again but as said fees are around a third of what you win but based on they win some you may not by doing yourself and the time involved I would recommend and use again

This is my first time using sanderson drake and I can't say I've had any problems from the get go with them. They have always kept me up to date with my claim. Whenever I've spoken to them directly I always found them to be polite and helpful, helping my understand the process of the claim.
