SCAM
Been a customer for many years, they kept taking money but stopped delivering wine. Scam.
Took my money but no wine delivered
After years of loyal customer from me, my orders stopped arriving but they kept taking my money.
I wrote to the company about this and had no response. The website has been down for a while and the customer services number doesn’t work anymore either.
It looks like they took what money they could from customers before quietly folding.

Was a loyal and happy customer for many years. November 2024 no wine delivered, December I chased via email, was told like others there was staffing issues and was sent 3 random dusty bottles on next day delivery, January no delivery - emailed again no reply, February taken the money again no delivery no response, website and phone not connected. Such a shame, we're now £150 down with no wine.

Literally robbed my money. I’ve been asking for a refund for months and no is getting back to me! Complete con!

They've either gone bankrupt or scam
They've either gone bankrupt or it's a scam. Had 1 successful (albeit late) delivery last year, now my next is 6 weeks late (payment obviously taken) and no one answers emails/support tickets through the website, nor answers the telephone. The registered office is a storage facility in Wandsworth, who understandably have no idea who Savage Vines are.

Unadulterated scam
Unadulterated scam. Ordered items online which have not been delivered. Payment went to a tattooist in Blyth, Northumberland. None of the Savage Vine phone numbers work. Scandalous.

Savage Vines have essentially stolen £164.27 from by bank account.

Blatant fraud sent first order then nothing and zero emails back and phone line doesn't work i.e. was disconnected, I have reported them to online fraud to police took me 20mins
Scam - claim your chargeback a.s.a.p
Sadly, this appears to be a scam. We had a 6 month wine subscription but despite receiving automatic 'Order received' emails every month, every single month we have had to chase up the actual delivery to no avail.
So far, 5 months into our subscription, we have received a total of 4 out of 12 bottles we paid for. They are the most expensive 4 bottles of wine we've ever bought.
We were fobbed off in the early days with an email about "staffing issues", but now we get no reply. At first I thought it was incompetence, but now it seems to be a deliberate scam. They are still selling subscriptions but sending no wine.
It seems as though this company is about to go bust or is about to be taken to court, so my advice is to file a chargeback on your credit card as soon as possible as your only way of getting your money back.
Where is my money?
I pay £20 per month into a subscription that offers 25% off prices. I now can't access either the discount or the months of credit I've built up. They are not answering my emails or offering any help whatsoever, so are basically stealing my money.
Appallingly unreliable and unresponsive
Frankly I'm amazed they remain in business. Zero stars would be more suitable. Zero customer service. Zero feedback when contacted. Zero ability to provide any service. I had bought a gift package for my daughter prior to Xmas. She never received it. My four follow-up emails received no reply. Still no package. Now I am trying to get my money back almost a month later. Save yourselves the headache and never use them.
Theft?
An online payment of £153 was debited from my bank account twice by Savage Vines on 17 December 2024. All attempts to contact SV to recover the duplicate payment have achieved nil response.
Defrauded by Savage Wines
I have used Savage Wines in the past for subscription service and was pleased with them at the time. However, Christmas 2024 I have had a terrible experience with them. I bought a wine subscription for my parents for Christmas and it was never sent, despite my credit card being charged. I have sent emails and made phone calls but with no response at all. Terrible customer service and my money has been taken with no product or service delivered - I have been defrauded by Savage Wines. I would advise to use one of the many other wine subscription sellers out there. Steer clear of Savage Wines.

1 star is way too generous but I can’t go any lower. Still no response from the company from any email, phone call etc. And therefore still waiting for a refund….but I’ve just received an email inviting me to order from them again….I would seriously advise anyone to steer 100% clear!
This was a gift subscription
This was a gift subscription, month went ok and got my 3 bottles. However, month 2 is horrendous. The automatic order was processed by them on 7 December and is still showing as processing today 23 December. I have contacted them on several occasions but no response. Seems they take your order, payment then leave the order showing as processing. Not a very good service on month 2, and got 4 more months to go. Based on service to date I would not recommend this company

Despite promising that that the situation would be rectified nothing has happened to achieve this. I have asked for a refund but whether this will materialise remains to be seen.

Ordering was quick and easy via the website.
Following my order the company identified a minor problem - I was telephoned by the lovely Alex who sorted things out.
My goods arrived very speedily, well before the date quoted.
Very impressed with such friendly customer- centred service.

i purchased a wine subscription back in june for a gift. I had tried to cancel the subscription after 3 months. I have been trying to contact this company non-stop since september, had no email responses whatsoever. I have tried calling and the answering machine says ‘error’.
They have continued to take money out of my account, despite me sending numerous emails to cancel my subscription and ringing multiple times.
I have ended up cancelling my direct debit on my online banking app.
However, each month they keep trying to take the money out.
Absolutely appalling service and will not recommend to anyone.
