Amazing knives, from a British company. Great information and a fab selection. You can engrave your knives for free, and even the off the shelf collection come with a choice of cool handles.

Excellent purchase. Knife is exceptional. I thought the online purchase process was excellent and was impressed be the additional layer of security for proof of age etc as I was buying a blade. Unfortunately, although clearly marked Royal Mail posted through my letterbox without proof of age or signature. Not Savernake's fault but poor from Royal Mail.

I have long been tempted by Savernake's advertising, the design, functionality and quality all seemed exactly what I was looking for. I guess what put me off was buying one without actually having in in my hand first. I need not have been concerned.

I have collected knives for our travels all around the world, Japan, Argentina , Mexico, usually direct from the makers always taking a very long time to decide!

I took advantage of their recent £50 off offer to buy a limited edition Stratus Nakiri. Very bright stylish handle that now stands out on the rack from various bone and wood handles. Basically, it looks fantastic.

Most importantly, as soon as I took it out of the box, it felt comfortable in my hand. The sharpness is the equal of any of the multi layered damascus blades that sit alongside it and I have no doubt it will be a lot easier to care for. It is a genuine pleasure to use.

Top quality knife from a company that really cares about great products and excellent customer service

After ordering a Savernake kitchen knife. I was kept informed of the progress of the knife and could not be happier. The knife is wonderful, beautifully crafted and balanced in the hand, with good sharpness, I will return to order a honing steel at a later date, with some more knives. Customer service is outstanding. These are good people, who care about what they do and stand for real British craftsmanship. Highly recommended.

Bought myself a new knife and it was so good that I bought my grandson ,who enjoys cooking, a large chef’s knife and honing steel, all first class and an absolute pleasure to work with.
