So I clicked on their websight from a…
So I clicked on their websight content crave from a competition websight, they told me to log in with PayPal to enter the competition which I did. That's where my mistake was. They have set up a recurring weekly payment of 5.99 to content crave lifestyle club. and the payment was taken from PayPal but taken from a different bank account, not the one that was linked to PayPal.And on my PayPal account it's saying the payment ws taken from the linked account, which it wasn't. So PayPal are saying I've authorised it. I'm trying to figure out how they were able to access this bank as it was not linked to PayPal! I'm now worrying that they will try to take more out in future so I have had to order a new card and change the password on PayPal. Be careful if your someone who goes on free competition sights!

This company scams people via paypal
This company scams people into entering PayPal information including phone number from a link beside a qr code. They trick you into clicking on the link when you are trying to pay for a different service. In my case a kindergarten fund-raiser. They then set up automatic payments after you enter your PayPal login to a fake screen. They then text you from various numbers pretending to be your child saying they have changed their phone number after dropping their phone in water. If you have fallen for this trap make sure you change your PayPal password asap and remove the automatic payments that they set up in you pay pal account. Block the phone numbers and report the scam. It is a UK company. I was scammed in Australia.

my intent was to get a digital membership card but somehow i've ended up "paying" $0 dollars without any heads up about regular payments

I scanned and was scammed into a subscription
I scanned at a Hungry Jacks at a BP in Barnawartha Vic., to pay for an order. Next I saw a $9.99 debit to SB7 Mobile and that I was now subscribed to same via PayPal. It came up after scanning a QR code on the order screen to pay for the order. Will contact PayPal.

QR for free coffee at famous Cafe
I scanned QR for free coffee at Miami Bakehouse West in Pinjarra (WA). Next day, PayPal advised me that there is due my first payment to some doggy subscription to DB7 Mobile. I canceled this subscription immediately. There has not been any deductions from my account and these scammers disappeared from my PayPal.

Scammers
No idea who they are or what they claim to sell!!!
I've just found 2 transactions taking money from my account from them.
Oh so you reply to me here, but don't leave me an option there than to email you!!!!
I'm not going to piss around going down any more of your rabbit holes!!!! I did enough of that to start with!
If you have any intent to deal with this here!
Trying to log on to account doesn't work and claims not to know me in which case how come you are asking money from me? I'll leave Barclaycard fraud dept to deal with it.

Scam
Scam - fake QR code on an EV charging station in Colac, Victoria, Australia. - directs here rather
Than the charging app - even includes the charging station number to look legitimate. Asks to approve PayPal. In a couple of clicks you're subscribed to a weekly $9.99 payment. Very dodgy.
