A SBH Radiator is not for life it appears.

I have one of SBH's dual fuel towel rails. It has been in service for a few years, but the radiator tap has started to leak.

I contacted SBH for what type of tap/valve I need to repair it and Sharon (SBH help desk) has informed me it cannot be repaired. Despite many requests she is unwilling or unable to tell me what I need, or where I can get a replacement valve.
This a problem as I will have to drain and refill the system twice. Once to find out what it is so I can order one as there are so many types. Secondly, to put the new one in after I have managed to get one. Leaving the system unfilled means no hot water as I have a combi boiler.

Companies House records for SBH Radiators (2016) Limited show them to be insolvent and in the process of being wound up, yet they are still trading, which I believe is an offence under civil law.

We ordered a radiator with A1 radiators…

We ordered a radiator with A1 radiators who sent the order to their suppliers SBH Radiators. As we was having some building work done in the kitchen we had chosen an upright radiator for a change and we had purchased central valves from A1. The radiator arrived Well packaged I Must say, now not being a plumber I left in the box when the plumber came to fit the radiator it was the wrong one as the connections where at the ends not central there excuse was we don't know how this happened. Now the plumber was paid in the initial price which i'd paid the builder now to get him back it is going to cost me again they have refused to pay compensation not only for the inconvenience to me as i have pipes coming out of the wall and this has delayed the work until i can find another radiator and having to pay again to get the plumber out and all of this is their error If your a trades person /customer please be wary of this company. They are not customer friendly at all
