Purchased the Farina and cliq lights which do work fantastic. Headlight is super bright and the cliq works as described. That being said I have never been able to find the app to enable all of the additional bells and whistles that are supposed to be available. Does any one still have access to to the App? Otherwise do not purchase. Not sure why reputable businesses are still listing them based on all of the negative feedback and red flags mentioned in previous reviews.

Diabolical company that switches trading names more often than I change my socks. Orders never arrive, they rarely reply to messages and if they do it’s always the same BS. Even had the CEO say f one of the companies mail me, absolutely denying any involvement with previous company names, and trying to g to get me to buy more stuff. Do they think we were born yesterday. Scam/fraudulent site. Please please do not purchase from them!

I have purchased 2 lights from them. The lights themselves have been great. However, customer service we horrible. I now have a recurring monthly charge from them. I can not access my account to see what the charges are, and when emailing their support email, it gets returned as an invalid email address.

Bought lights from "smartbikelights", which is the old name for sbl-cycling, in 2021.
In Dec 2021 i asked for a refund after waiting for 4 months my package, and even if they promise it, i do not have any 3 years later.
Do not buy from them, they do no send lights nor refund when do you ask
P.S: The mail shown on their website does not work

Ordered in Feb 2024. Didn’t receive the products and only 1reply from peter. After that I followed up with many emails but no replies. This co is absolutely not reliable and avoid like the plague

Scam, scam, scam- do not order anything. You will not receive ordered and loose your money. My order from 04.2023 not received🤬 At first some d……d peter stevens tried to write some scam about problems with manufacturing, bla bla bla., but now lost.

Amazing products, great customer service, all questions have been answered to the satisfaction. prompt shipping.

Complete scam company, lights I ordered in February 2023 were never delivered, they reply to your emails with an endless list of excuses regarding delays etc until enough time has passed that you can't lodge a credit card dispute to retrieve money. I reported them to Federal scam watchdog authorities along with the whole email chain.

Hope you receive all the items you ordered, because if it like my experience then you will get lots of emails why but you will not get your missing items, they are just a scam

They took my money for two lights, after months and months of lies on when my lights would be shipping I asked for my money back and more lies and lies! It’s been over a year I have sent close to 100 emails and still no lights or my money back!!!!!!!!!!!

Ordered the charger & mount for Farina in May 2023 but never arrived. Wrote in to customer service and only gotten automated replies.

Bought from them previously and product was good but unfortunately, it seems to be a scam site now.

Scam. Placed an order via smartbikelights.com in May 2023, still in "order placed" status to this day, not processed, not sent. Never heard back after numerous emails. Site got ripped down and replaced with new domain sbl-cycling.com so cannot go down the dispute order path with shopify. Ownership details for both domains can be tracked to the same business (21634257864 / LK & Partners PTY LTD), they have swapped domains to try and reset their reputation (and leave customers like me in the lurch). People like this should not be allowed to do business, especially in Australia.

Great light. The brake function is exactly what I was looking for.

This company is a scam. I ordered 2 lights about 2 years ago and despite many emails explaining delays, manufacturing problems etc, I still haven't received the lights or a refund. Don't expect to get your light after you pay your money.

Best customer support ever. I had an issue with my light, as it was not working properly. After sending them an email by explaining the issue, they immediately send me a new light. What do you want more?

I already had a Cliq tail light but saw the offer for a Farina headlight and the Cliq tail light for $99.99 and bought them, you can’t have too many tail lights. (The Cliq tail light is great!)
I checked my credit card statement and saw I had been billed in $ US. I placed the ordered on my phone and didn’t notice anything to suggest the offer was in $ US and not $ AUD. Then I checked on their website and saw the items are billed in $US but I saw the company is based in Melbourne so I thought it was only fair the items were billed in AUD. This made me concerned so I checked the reviews online and was pretty shocked with what I read and figured I wouldn’t see the goods. I tried to cancel my order but not long after received an email confirming my order had been received and would be shipped soon, so by now my I’m sure I’d been burnt!
I contacted SBL and received a reply from Peter almost immediately. Emails went back and forth about being billed in USD and to cut the story short, he agreed to refund my money…..no questions asked and his tone through the entire exchange was about customer satisfaction! The refund took a couple of days which is understandable and it did happen so it's disappointing to read the reviews because my experience with these guys has been nothing less than exceptional. I don’t work for them or know anyone at the company, this review is a 100% honest.

To my surprise, today, I received the headlight and tail light! I contacted SBL to say they’d mistakenly sent me the items and they said it was a gesture from the team for any for any misunderstanding. I couldn’t speak highly enough of their communication and customer service.
If you’re sceptical, then you’ll read this review and reckon it’s a beat up, but I’ll say it again, I do not know these guys and this review is 100% honest
Based on my experience you can buy with confidence.
They do have a customer service division, they do reply to emails and really do exist and the products are real. If anyone wants to reply to this review with their email address, I’ll glady get in touch to verify everything I’ve said, I promise everything you've just read is true!

Excellent company. Can't fault. Will surely recommend them.

I can’t believe that I can get power readings through SBL+ without the need of a power meter. Finally some tangible data without having to spend thousands on hardware. Great to see innovation is still out there

Update:(November 23 ish) After being asked for some additional information, mainly my order number--here it is
Order number was 30855. Placed on October 7, 2022 (Japan time). I have received communication from a representative of the company, and will update as things progress).

UPDATE (December18,2023)--SBL Cycling (Makers of the Farina and Cliq brand Smart Bike Lights) now claim that they are not "Smartbikelights" (Who were the makers of the Farina and Cliq brand Smart Bike Lights), nor are they in any way related to "SBL Worldwide" (ALSO the makers of the Farina and Cliq brand Smart Bike Lights). They sell the same products, same names, same proprietary software, use the same abbreviations and are located in the same place, but they aren't the same company?? Sorry, mate, I don't believe that for a second. About a month ago, I received a message from their representative saying they would investigate, and telling me that "SBL-cycling" is in no way related to SBL aka smartbikelights aka SBLWorldwide (Despite the current website even saying "SBL worldwide"). I replied that I would edit my review if and when the situation was resolved. He asked me to send the correspondence regarding my order, and he would get back to me "soon" I immediately replied with the full record of my email conversations over the past year and 2 months. I have yet to receive any other response. The only communication I received was the notice from Trustpilot that SBL (cycling/worldwide) claims to be a different company and wants me to change my review.

The "Date of experience" reflects the last time I received any communications from SBL. My most recent attempt to contact the company was on November 23, 2023.
I ordered the Farina front light on October 7, 2022. At first, communication was fairly quick. I wrote to check my order's status about a week after placing my order.
I was told to expect shipping information within a couple of weeks. No information came.
Long story short--I wrote several times up until May 25, 2023. (That was the last time I received any communication from SBL). Each time I was assured that my order would be shipping soon. (The last time promised an update and status repoprt withing 15 business days...That was in May, and I have not heard anything). I have written a few times since they changed to the new domain. No response.
I love my Cliq tail light--I have had it for a few years, and it's wonderful. I was actually only trying to order a new set of mounts for the Cliq when I saw the Farina. So, I decided to give myself a birthday present...but it never came.
All I want from SBL is 1: at least a reply to my mails.
and 2 EITHER the products I ordered, OR a full refund.
IF I can get my stuff, then I will edit the review to reflect so.
