If it wasn’t for the support and nurturing of the staff and facilities at SB Mentoring, my family would still be in crisis. Using a unique, individualised and flexible approach, the staff helped my child who has struggled at mainstream due to S.E.M.H. and missed many years of schooling because of that. My child is about to sit 7 GCSEs with great predicted results. This could not have happened without the team at SB Mentoring, they should all be very proud of the great work they do. They have provided such a good program tailored specifically for my child.

I can not recommend SB Mentoring Alternative Provision enough. From our first look around the positive calm and encouraging environment was evident and the staff where understanding and clearly knowledgeable with experience of a range of different needs and learning styles. My son was dealing with complete burnout, anxiety and mental health challenges and as a family we did not quite know what was best. Nearly a year with SB Mentoring and our child is back to smiling, showing confidence and achieving in many different areas. This is thanks to the difference everybody at SB Mentoring makes and how much they care and understand. We travel 1 hour to attend provision and this is because there was not an alternative provision as good as SB mentoring any closer to us but a journey now I’m thankful to do every week for the difference they have made. The future for not only our son but the whole family looks very different now because of SB Mentoring and I will always be grateful.

Louiza and Zoe consistently go above and beyond, their care, dedication and genuine commitment to each young person really shines through. That said, every single member of staff is amazing. The whole team creates such a positive, nurturing environment.

A special mention to Ian, who has been incredible in supporting my son with Design Technology. He has helped him create some wonderful pieces and, more importantly, has helped rebuild his confidence and love for learning.

The facilities are fantastic, and the bespoke, tailor-made approach to education makes such a difference. I feel so lucky that my son has been given the opportunity to be part of something so supportive and thoughtfully designed around his needs.

The best alternative provision and specialist S.E.M.H. & A.D.H.D. provider! We as a family would be lost without SB mentoring. The staff are all kind, well trained and very supportive. If only there were more provisions and people like you for all the children that need it- the world would be a better place. Staff members are dedicated to meeting the students needs and appreciate not every child learns in the same way so offers a bespoke timetable for each individual. I would recommend SB mentoring without any hesitation.

SB Mentoring, an alternative provision and specialist S.E.M.H. & A.D.H.D. provider based in Calne, Wiltshire. They work with students aged 11-16 who are at risk of or have received exclusions.
