If you start a new website

If you start a new website, the creepy guy who calls his company, "Scamdar," has a way to find out. He then lists your site as a scam???, with question marks to protect himself legally. The only way to get him to stop is to pay him.

Google seems to be the real culprit here. Sociopaths will do what sociopaths do. But Google should know better than to give this creep a platform.

We Disapprove Scamdar For Providing Misleading Review

We are launching our new websites and Scamdar has rated our websites with a trust level of 1%. This is absolutely unacceptable as it is simply misleading, untruthful, and unwarranted.

Given the name of the website itself ("Scamdar") and the way their analysis is presented utilizing terms such as "Trust Level", and also advertisement asking questions such as "Have you been scammed?", it does seem inevitable that people will leave their website with a false impression that our website is a scam while we are in fact a legitimate and registered business.

They have been very successful in driving web traffic to their website and we must assume much of these traffics are in fact generated by businesses that shockingly found their websites being framed pretty much as a scam by Scamdar. It literally takes no effort for them to get the attentions they want from the internet at stake of others.

This to us is no different than cyberbullying and abuse of trust. We hereby express our complete disapproval of Scamdar.

Scamdar is clearly questionable

Scamdar is clearly questionable. It has listed my shop as a new scam when my shop has traded on ETSY for 8 years with 1798 sales and a five star out of five star rating system. It's only criteria for listing as a scam appears to be if you register a domain name associated with your shop name. I have never been contacted by Scamdar and have never had a claim made against me. I have contacted their website administrator for an explanation but not received a response.

THE SCAM FROM SCAMDAR.COM (Scamdar is a scam)

Scamdar is owned by Karl Bartle of Croydon England. He owns 7 scamdar like websites. He lists every domain as a scam. You email the site and get an auto reply from another one of his websites. It claims you must pay them $15 to be removed and it gives Karl's personal email address to send money to papal through (KarlBartle2001 at gmail).
Karl knows what he is doing is wrong I actually spoke to his brother on Facebook who stated the family wants nothing to do with him. You can find him easily by his email address online google and he has a very long track record of being a con artist online.

It's a scam

It's a scam, it marks all websites as scamers, while you as website owner can't complain about it, I've contacted them to remove my business website, and they just said we cant do that, contact other email to do so, and the other website isn't available.

It is a scam and it makes things worst for startups

It's extortion!

It's extortion! They write bad reviews of start up companies, with no evidence of any wrong doing, making it more difficult to get a business going. I wrote a good review of a company and the review did not appear. The owner of the company contacted them and they want money to remove the bad review.
