AI slop
I can’t believe I fell for the instagram advert and not realised sooner that it’s all written and narrated by AI. Tried hard to overlook it (because I paid over £100 for the art therapy course) but I cannot focus and take in any information because it’s written by AI in an overly verbose and over the top psychological flway. It teaches things like how to approach conversations with more empathy, etc which is completely ironic and messed up because I’m supposedly learning about human connection from a robot. I tried to get my money back but they refused (when I say ‘they’ it was ai I spoke to both on email and chat) there doesn’t seem to be anyone human behind this - though someone must’ve put in the prompts. Anyway, don’t be fooled and think it’s value for money. I wouldn’t take the course again even if it was free.
Update: I was offered a refund as a result of this review

I loved the psychology behind the Art therapy, the history, the case studies and the flexibility of the course
Very good literature and different styles of therapeutic applications and approaches.
Lovely resources and great for artists too who would like to take the therapeutic skills to help different people from various cultures and religions where it touches the soul of the clients, bringing peace and self awareness through shape, colour and texture.
There are many examples and skills used in the course and you can research further by reading literature to enhance further understanding of the specialisms offered in psychotherapy and the creativity involved.
I'm a teacher of Art and have studied Fine Art courses over 7 years so I could really relate to this course.

It was very good for me, I could learn so much and now it is time for the practice time!
The training was really good and the team write me back quickly, if I had a questions.
The only thing, that was a little bit disappointed, was at the final examination. I had two exercise and the answer, which I choose, was right. (At my first change it was right)But for the secound time, they was wrong. That was a little bit strange.
