Mr Rogers is an excellent English teacher, as he gave us precise and personalised feedback on our work, teaching straightforward structures for creative writing and systems for analysis, while also sparking an enthusiasm for creative writing through enjoyable lessons and assignments where I had never really enjoyed the subject before. I had struggled a lot with English at school before starting his class, so his lessons were a massive help with my GCSEs!

Mr Rogers was able to provide us with an amazing learning experience. Throughout my lessons with him, he constantly gives targeted feedback to every student and provides a range of methods which we can use to breakdown and interpret ideas. I’m very pleased with the way he teaches as he is constantly able to address my mistakes and give alternatives to improve my work. These lessons have constantly been effective and have enabled me to do better.

Mr Rogers is honestly the best English teacher I've ever had. His style of teaching is adaptive and he is always willing to mark work and offer constructive feedback. I've learnt how to tackle questions at different angles and he also breaks down complex ideas to make it much easier to understand. I highly recommend Mr Rogers for English tuition!

Learning with Mr Rogers was an amazing experience. He is an exceptional teacher who genuinely cares about his students and he often challenged me to think of concepts critically. His style of teaching often pushed me beyond surface-level interpretations and has even caused me to interpret my GCSE texts on a deeper, even philosophical, level. Rather than focusing solely on the exam specification, Mr Rogers taught me about the meaning, purpose, and human experience of life itself, reflected in literature; without his guidance, I sincerely believe I would not be the person I am today. I am extremely grateful for his tutoring, and I hope others, too, can see the benefits in his lessons.

Amazing tutor throughout the years, helping me from 11+ all the way up to my GCSES for my English. Gives constant feedback for all my work and is experienced, being supportive and also engaging. This has lead to an enjoyable and educating experience, something hard to find in education.

Ben was a really great tutor for my English Literature and Language GCSEs! I regularly received in-depth feedback about my work and got tailored support with my areas of weakness , allowing me to sit my English GCSEs with confidence! From a student who does not enjoy English that much, Ben has been an excellent tutor and teaches English in a unique way that has really helped me a lot. Excellent English tutor
I highly recommend Ben. He helped one of my sons in his GCSE English, few years ago, and my son was very successful achieving grades 9 in both English literature and language. Following this successful outcome, he has been helping my other son with his 11+ since September 2024 and we are very happy with the progress so far.
