Amazing experience with Scintilla starting with first email query to landing back home. Janine was incredibly helpful answering all our questions and concerns, of which there were many given it was our first trip to Africa for safari and with our 5yr old.
She was also great in sorting out a new lodge for us half way through the trip, and even that went seamlessly.
The entire trip was an absolute treat in so many ways and we will surely return. Thank you Scintilla!

The game drives were excellent so many sightings.
Food was exceptional.
Choice of lodges were amazing.

Where do i begin?! Janine was the most professional, fun, prompt and savvy travel agent i have ever come across. Her knowledge of what to do, where to stay, when to visit was so impressive and she helped us create the most stress free, seamless, trip of a lifetime.
My partner proposed to me in the early days of our travels and Janine went above and beyond to help us celebrate. She and the team organised us a special dinner at our safari lodge and even had our proposal photo framed and in our hotel room waiting for us.
Janine, thank you for your patience whilst planning, editing, re-planning and editing again and again and again whenever i wanted to add or change something, for our trip!

Perfectly organised trip, with a great sens for details, and an excellent choice of hotels and day trips/safaris. From the second we came out from the plane, till we embarked, we hadn't to care about our trip. It was time to enjoy!

Scintilla tailored a road trip for us from Windhoek to Cape Town. We gave them a basic outline and they planned the itinerary, accommodation, etc. around our ideas. Our consultant, Janine, was excellent. We were booked into fabulous accommodation, our hire car was excellent and all the arrangements ran like clockwork. Having Janine's personal number for any problems was very reassuring. Excellent organisation and service. We would recommend Scintilla wholeheartedly.

I cannot rate this travel company highly enough. Having given the team a seemingly impossible list of wants, boundaried by rigid timescales as we had such little time in country, the whole holiday group was blown away with what Scintilla managed to achieve. Everything went so smoothly- from being greeted at the door of our international flight to the absolute opulence of the Elephant Camp at Gorah- that frankly we felt like royalty. In a holiday with so many moving parts (3 hotels, internal flight, car hire, several different international arrival and departure times due to schedules) we were nervous that there would be hiccups but at every stage our journey was faultless.
We put ourselves firmly in the hands of the Scintilla experts (knowing little about the areas we wished to visit) and they were able to use their in-country expertise to not only suggest an amazing itinerary, but also to tweak it according to our increasingly demanding desires! Nothing felt like too much effort, the company were quick to respond to contact from us and on our magical tour of South Africa, where every hotel and experience seemed to surpass the one previous, we had to pinch ourselves on many occasions to believe we were awake!
Highly recommended especially if, like us, you are busy when booking and don't have the time to research lots of options. The team took time to understand what we wanted and then did the legwork to present us with bespoke itineraries. My top tip - if Sicntilla recommend the Gorah Elephant camp then definitely go. The camp was the crowning jewel in our trip, and like taking a step back into the glamour of a previous era whilst being surrounded by the majesty of the African Savanna.
