SCM Contractors LTD 

This company is a shambles, I wouldn't use them again if you paid me. When I tried to get them to put things right, all I got was 'it doesn't look that bad to us'.!!! Obviously their standards aren't that high, along with their attitude to their clients. I agree with the other 47% of very dissatisfied customers.

Great job done re fencing large garden on one of our Chiswick investment properties. Craig and his team were courteous and punctual. Happy tenants equals a happy landlord!

This company is full of cowboys the tradesman make mistake after mistake fitted show 3 times he kep leaking and still does keep well away Duncan and Josh a full of crap

Stay well a way from this cowboy outfit They installed a whole new bathroom show still. Leaks then out the wrong kitchen worktops down. And when plastering ceiling the spilt plaster all on top of units and still not cleaned it up left all there rubbish on my garden

DUNCAN cut my days off under the pretext of MC Donald and that I ate something for a client and made a mark on the carpet together £2100. DONT TRUST HIM

After our previous builders abandoned our garage/playroom conversion, complaining that they could not complete the works within budget (that they quoted). We asked Duncan and the SCM team to step in. They have now completed the work in time for Christmas and with some leftover cash. Duncan has advised us that we can now use this on the bathroom refurb (something we did not think we had the budget to do so).

After moving to the uk and not knowing any builders, SCM have been very assisting and concise throughout the whole process and I look forward to them returning to do the annex in 2023!

Scm have now finished the refurb of my first house and my partner and I couldn't be happier. Great communication and effort from the team. The work was everything and more than we had in mind - will certainly be referring them to friends and family in the Reading area.

I recently moved into my first home with my girlfriend, I was introduced to Josh and the SCM team. They came, quoted and were on site within the month.

After previous negative experience with builders it was refreshing to have a team that could develop results in time and on budget.

Following the refurb on my utility and new flooring/decoration throughout the house, we then had them complete the paving to the garage and patio outside the annex.

Andy and his team communicated well throughout and Duncan was very advising when necessary and we will certainly be referring them in the future.

We recently chose SCM Group to work with us on our home extension. Gary and Abby were attentive to our needs and wants as we were unsure of the finish we liked. The workman we polite and tidy. I’d be happy to recommend.

Wouldn't give them a 1 star, but had no choice! They have been employed by soha housing to rip out my mums bathroom and put in a wet room. Been a 💩show since day 1! Polish worker kept disappearing! Always on phone! Chucked the old bath and other rubbish on HER NEIGHBOURS FRONT GARDEN! Left my elderly disabled mother with no toilet almost all day, had to be called back gone 6 to come back to put it back it. (doesn't look right?) showers been put in, and my mum uses the shower after a week of not having one, and IT FLOODS THE HOUSE! landing carpet fked! Newly decorated living room walls fked with water run marks! Electrics blew! Came through kitchen ceiling, floors all lifted (tiles) dining room carpet fked! And left without a shower AGAIN!(apparently pumps fked, was brand new? 🤔) soha need to sack these lot off and find decent one. If no one pays for the damage and sorts this shower soon, we will be taking them to court.

Useless and untrustworthy. Contracted to do a kitchen extension. Everything they did had to be re-done, from the installation of the steels, to the levelling of the flooring, to the plasterwork and decorating. Took no responsibility for any of their failures. Failed to pay their subcontractors (who were the only people who managed to do a good job). Took no responsibility for any delays in the build. 6 month build took over 12 months to complete and a further year to complete the snagging. Abby is lightweight, inexperienced and not to be trusted - she says one thing and does another. Save yourself time, money, energy and heartache - use anyone but SCM.

Please avoid these useless, thieving, and shoddy cowboys.they will never involve you in decision making, will provide you with the cheapest itrms and then charge you extortionately! Then they will deny any mistakes and try to charge you extra to rectify them.they will never take responsibility for anything that goes wrong and everything does go wrong!! Never trust Abi. She is a compulsive liar and ducks all responisbilities. She tells you something else to your face but goes to to do complete opposite. Her and all the company are simply thieves and liars and horrible cheats!! They are all a big big disgrace preying on vulnerable people and advising them incorrectly so they can extort. They will regularly miss appointments and lie where they are.
Simply put, please save your dignity and just go with anybody else but these thieves!!!
