I was supposed to have a appointment with scopio. Fine they mixed the schedule up after I received personal dm's stating the ceo and the head creative director wanted to speak with me. They forgot the first scheduled meeting I reached out and the secretary Jovie sent confirmation waited the second day no word no show. Look i have been a professional illustrator fr almost 26 years now. If people can't follow through with small things they most certainly wont with big things. Now they have so many messages coming my way not one being an apology just sales for them trying to make their own ai for forbes.

I was contacted by Scopio / artist.scop.io through Instagram and encouraged to upload my vector works with promises of payment. It has now been over two months, and my work is still “under review.” Whenever I message them, I only get vague, dismissive responses and no direct answers about when (or if) I will ever get paid.

This platform takes artists’ time and work but fails to deliver on payment or transparency. I’m not the only one — there are multiple reports online of long delays, withheld payments, unresponsive support, and artists being locked out of accounts after uploading valuable work.

Artists deserve respect and fair treatment — not exploitation.
⚠️ Please do not trust their promises.
⚠️ Do not give away your art for free to platforms that hide behind excuses.

We work hard, and this kind of behavior should be illegal. I’m sharing this so fewer artists waste their time and energy like I did.

I really wanted to like Scopio and support them. I submitted an image and text for their 'If' project back in February 2025, and now it looks like that project has disappeared. After trying to reach the head of this company multiple times and ask what is going on (I already gave them permission to use my work, which was a mistake without doing research first), I have not gotten any response. Further, the email address that was linked to the project no longer exists. It's impossible to get any support from Scopio and from my experience, I don't advise any photographer to submit their work to them. They have not indicated how they will use my work, but this feels like stealing. There are other options to share your photography and earn some money.

Paid 99 last year for the 3d and video download option and still have not received a launch date. Fradulent?

When I created the account with them, everything seemed to work, but then my account froze, even in the contributor area, the tools don't work, everything is bugged for me. I have already sent an email, sent a message on Instagram and other platforms and have not received a response from anyone. Can anyone from Scopio answer me?

been with them for over 4years at beginning went kind of well then they changed how you do description which messed up lot of what i already uploaded. then they move into Crypto payment only too which i signed up for then everything went worst... didn't even make up the min you need to payout stuck on $21.9 for 3 years. i logged in today the site is broken cannot see account info or earnings have to use APP.... seriously some of the photos i had up made me hundreds of USD on other stock photo sites... Scopio seem more like scam then anything.

This is a scam company.

I paid them for an unlimited lifetime stock photography subscription. They unilaterally changed it to ten downloads per month. Fine, whatever.

There are two main problems:

After you use up your first ONE month of downloads, they never reset them again. You don't get ten downloads "per month", you get ten downloads TOTAL. After buying an UNLIMITED LIFETIME SUBSCRIPTION. They ignore emails and tell lies about when your monthly downloads will reset. Sometimes if you post publicly about being ripped off on the CEO's LinkedIn page she'll sort out your account ONCE (she seems much more concerned with her public image than with actually delivering on the product she sold you), but then she'll go back to ignoring you shortly thereafter.

You can try using their online support but they will never write back to you.

DO NOT give this company your money. Photographers, don't give them your intellectual property. THEY CAN'T BE TRUSTED.

I supported at the beginning and was sold a lifetime unlimited package. They have since reduced this to a small limit of photos. Completely illegal and unethical. I then tried to speak with the founder Christina who just ignored it completely.

DO NOT TRUST THEM with your money or business.

Paid for a lifetime subscription of 1000 downloads/month but after two years this was reduced to a legacy plan of 30 downloads/month. I understand they couldn't sustain it but then they shouldn't have offered it! Three stars because I don't need more than 30 downloads/month anyway.

Working with Scopio has been an experience! As a photographer it got me into a new project that I’d never done before. The staff are very nice and communicative. They want to help get projects done and answer questions promptly. My only issues were that,

1. Sometimes instructions would miss a tiny step that played a big part in the next step of completing a task. I spent days trying to get past a step that neither of us could figure out what was wrong bc it wasn’t listed and they do it instinctually.

Make sure you ask all the questions and have them walk you through it if you can’t figure it out.

2. The payment process was a little chaotic. I did get paid for my work they just could’ve communicated better what the process was from start to finish as well as anticipated pay date. These questions they took longer to respond to vs during the project. The way they collected documents could’ve been more organized and more secure.

All in all, I would work with them again. However, this was March 250 object project needed all my time and energy. So, keep that in mind! It’s a project to work as a first or second job, but not as a third or additional side gig. I tried that and it was beyond exhausting.

I bought a "Lifetime subscription" that includes 1k monthly downloads. But they changed it to 10 images per month. I wrote to support and they responded "Solved" but nothing was solved at all.
I understand they need to make some adjusts but form 1K monthly to 10 monthly it is a joke. Same as several people here, I trusted on them, but they didn't honored our trust.

Shame on you Scopio.

People have been lifted out of poverty by Scopio, which is also a very profitable business where you will be compensated generously for your talents and earn recognition for them.

In Scopio, curating and photography are the best ways to showcase your abilities, increase your income, and see a happy bank account!
